proximity mines and bad sport thread

lvl 145 never seen BS and I have never NOT killed someone or blown up a car because I was scared to go BS. I kill when i want and its never been an issue.

Shouldnt just sit in a jet all day blowing up cars... BTW why bother boosting your KD artificially? Does it give you a hard on? LMAO

I don't go one session without blowing up every super to come near me. I'm a day one player who plays about 4 hours a day and have never been in bad sport. I don't get the coloration you're making between this one weapon and bad sport. People in bad sport deserve to be there.

 

I've been trying to get in since day one.

Been in BS lobby 2x on my old name. Since I made this name I haven't seen BS lobbies..

 

One reason is, I don't use explosives as my primary weapon. I only use it when I need to get them out of their car, (mainly specific Supers) which is for a few reasons.

 

1. Reversing on me while I'm on foot.. you're not invulnerable just because you can hit reverse and shoot dude!

2. Any car trying to run me over. If I can't get those shots off through the windshield before you get to me.. you're gettin' C4'd.

3. If I have multiples chasing me and I'm on the move, I slow a couple down..

 

Also, I don't really use the prox that much. I have good timing with my C4 and landmarks that one of the guys I kept C4ing even thought I was hacking/modding saying I had unlimited prox lol.... I just time my C4 based on their speed and the landmark pretty immaculately.

 

So I don't even think it's just the prox really. You can only carry 5 at a time, which means you have to constantly stock up on them. Even if you're doing nothing but prox the kill rate is slowed down simply because you're at only a 1/5th of what you CAN carry in C4, not to mention waiting for/luring someone to get to those spots but never make it or NPCs triggering them if improperly placed.

 

I have no problem with BS lobbies because of prox. I only use them in certain situations and it's seldom, at best. Me and the homies always keep watch on our status too so we don't go passed the second stage ever. Don't go crazy with them and you'll be fine.

 

I also totally agree with all the false BS charges.. we should not be put in BS simply because we played the game how R* intended. That's preposterous! Keep those lobbies for modders/heavy glitchers/hackers/cheaters IMHO. (Is punishing us for playing their game...? lol)

Only one person in my crew ever got put in and that was the first month it came out. These people must be the types that fly lazers or use tanks. I don't want to go but I've never been concerned about it either.

Never been in BS (Level 160 odd)

 

I've blown hundreds of PV's, but I don't go on marathon free roam war rampage's.

 

I spend many more hours in missions, and tend to do a stint of 3 or 4 completed missions after my free roam shenanigans.

 

I'm sure this is what has saved me from BS, my mental state is always going from white to red, back to white again.

 

Onto prox mines...

 

Absolutely hilarious, love setting up ambushes, works best with a friend with headset. Dig in somewhere defensible, plant some prox traps on the entrance routes, bounty eachother, and wait.

 

Good fun in GTA races, ended up in a motorbike race yesterday and the host was silly enough to switch it to a GTA race. Didn't take long for me to get out on front and start plopping prox mines on the checkpoints. 3 kills, in one race, not bad.

You can easily avoid PM if you drive really fast over it, besides that, Ive never been a bad sport lobby. I dont grief.

 

taking about this, I want to know if a full speed carbonizzare (maxed) trigger and get over it?

I dont like the bad sport system at all nor do I understand it. I am still unsure if bad sports and cheater pool is the same thing haha. Never been to either and with the amount of pvs I blow up Im not sure why some get sent there and some dont. I mean you can easily destroy 10 pvs in a lobby but how many does it really take. And how dedicated you must be to go way out of your way to destroy soo many pvs you actually get sent to bad sport.

 

I think it must be a combination of a few things..

Leaving jobs, blowing up pvs, and getting reported. To combat these you can do jobs, be commended and keeping your playtime up.

Many times you hear guys say they got sent to bad sport after being reported by members of another crew leaving me to believe it is not only the blowing up of pvs that will get you sent to bad sport.
