You could say so. Was a bit dissapointed when I first requested a car for myself and it just got teleported near me.

Its better like that bro. The spawning location might not be ideal everytime, but its a large improvement from having the mechanic spawn on bridges, then drive away requiring you to chase him down, or having him just drive past you

How would you get the mechanic to deliver your vehicle there? Every time I call for a mechanic and I'm far from a road, a message states that I'm too far from a suitable road. At least you got your mechanic to deliver to you behind you on the side of a cliff instead of making you walk all the way to the nearest road. You can't say your mechanic is sh*t

I use job coronas to spawn my car, just walk in to it, host, and back out. Always close and just as quick. Works on mt Chilliad too.

Nothing is worse then having your car spawn on an overpass above you, hills/cliffs are nothing. Even if I run 100yds away from any overpass or onramp/offramp, he still manages to put it there.

Let's take it easy on the mechanic. He is a mystical wizard that can replace 90% of the Ferrari or Lamborghini you wrecked in about 2 seconds for the reasonable cost of about $450. He will travel at your beck and call 24 hours a day to wherever you are to deliver you your ride usually in less than 60 seconds, no matter how far it is for him to drive. This selfless staple of GTA Online has made the game infinitely better despite all of the aggression aimed at him.

 

It is not wise to upset a wizard for they are subtle and quick to anger.
