Will Heists be the last DLC on old gen?

If it is I wouldn't blame them the game runs like S.h.i.t anyway when you go to fast in a car

It will include many things

But not limited to:

Dinka enduro

HVY insurgent

Lampadati Casco

Karin kuruma

Karin technical

Vapid guardian

And others that don't come to mind

And the possible ever so hyped

Hydra & hunter/Russian helicopter

And heists so that probably a lot of space on the servers

On PS3 so yea

:3

MeatSafeMurderer

I'd get that fixed...it runs just fine on my PS3...

@OP No it won't be the last DLC. The install base is simply too large on last-gen to ditch it just yet. Some people don't have the money, some people don't care about next-gen and some people aren't going to buy the same game again just because it's a little shinier....

This assumes Heists drop this spring.......

Next gen console sales are just under 40 million units since launch (14 months). There are 120 million active X360 / Ps3 accounts now.

If Next Gen (big IF) can continue current sales rate the X360 / PS3 will still be the dominant technology for at least another 2 years.

R* isn't going to ignore all of those users (sales $$$), they will continue to update both generations

Its Highly Possible that heist could the last DLC for Last Gen Machines or at least the last free DLC , I just hope they open up the Contract Mission Creator or Survival Creator before stopping

A couple of things that i think will determine this will be

  1. when Rockstar creates new DLC can it be done as a one size fits all DLC, or will it have to be dumbed down for Last Gen machines, if it has to be dumbed down for us then it is more likely it could be the last one or at least close to the last
  2. what is the time frame for these DLCs , the next gen consoles have been out for 2yrs now and with each passing month we get closer to lights out
  3. Is there a time frame that Console makers require game companies to keep a game that has online features, that makes the gaming company keep it online for a set amount of time

I do think that the Last Gen Machines might see a Story Mode DLC, if Online DLC is stopped,

It's already been said, UPDATES will still be coming

Everyone is trying to get a snappy post that you're not even debating the point.

OT: Probably, mainly because I think last gen will get like half of the DLC in a cool way to say "buy a new f*cking console already"

Aren't you cool...

...my mommy didn't buy me a new console for Christmas, I've only got thousands sitting in the bank, as well as a $200 gift card for Best Buy...but I don't need a PS4 right now, there's nothing worth buying to play on it...I'm waiting on a PS4 Slim release date, possibly

Microsoft has said they'll support the Xbox 360 until 2016, as a minimum, and Sony have said they'll support the PS3 for a "couple of years". You have to remember the Xbox 360 is almost entering its 10th year, and the PS3 not far behind, and the longest supported console is the PS2 which was supported for just over 13 years. R* will support this game until Sony & Microsoft pull the plug, which unfortunately I can't see being too far off.

I sure hope so. Last gen is holding current gen back. The sooner they don't have to support last gen the sooner we'll get better games and updates in GTAO.

I've been using windows XP since it came out and even though I had to money to upgrade when they stopped supporting it I didn't. But you didn't see me complaining about it.

“Now that you have GTAV out for next gen consoles, are you going to forget about the rest of us?” -@BlackWolf468

Hi BlackWolf, certainly not as players on PS3 and Xbox 360 can look forward to Online Heists and other updates that are in the works coming soon. We are incredibly thankful to our original generation of GTAV and GTA Online players on those systems and wish to continue providing content to them for as long as we can. Of course, at some point in the future, there may be a point where we reach the limits for the previous generation of consoles as there may be some updates that are only technically possible on the new hardware – but we do hope to continue delivering as many updates as we can for all four consoles for as long as possible.

No, most of the next gen owners are trying to make themselves feel better for buying the same game twice so they will keep trying to make others feel bad for not wanting to buy the same game twice
