So... I can Keep Molotovs Now?

About 2 weeks ago I joined an LTS and picked up 2 molotovs by accident, when it ended they were still in my inventory (as always), I used one on an npc and then went off to do some solo missions. A few days later I realised the other molotov was still in my inventory, even after joining another session. I requested an ammo drop from MW to get another three and they also stayed. Now I have a full permanent set of 25 after doing it multiple times.

 

Can we actually keep them now? Or have I encountered some sort of rare bug? Either way I'm stoked that I can keep them

Yes you can keep them. Think it started with the Christmas update thing.

Before the Festive Surprise DLC/Update, any molotovs would be removed from the weapon wheel.

Wow... didn't know that, sweet!. Just wish there was an easier way of getting them, like the gas station minigames in Chinatown Wars.

yeah i agree..i just call for an ammo drop after equipping when i'm down to 1..but the max i can hold is just 6.

you can hold 25 max. i called in like 9 ammo drops and filled up
