» First configure your video card and do a test ingame. Soon after, put the commandline file in the game folder and do a test in-game again.

 

1 — AMD Catalyst Control Center (​​CCC) — Configure your AMD graphic card by following the instructions below:

 

SIMPLE CONFIGURATION:

Go into the AMD Catalyst Control Center (​​CCC) » Power » Switchable Graphics. Under "Choose a Graphics Processor Unit" select "High-performance GPU".

 

ADVANCED CONFIGURATION:

Go into the AMD Catalyst Control Center (​​CCC) » Gaming » 3D Application Settings. Now click Add, browse the GTAIV.exe, and add it and after that, set as seen below:

 

» Make the tweaking AMD SETTINGS + Commadline SETTINGS #1 or NVIDIA SETTINGS #2

 

SETTINGS — Balanced — Performance & Quality:

This configuration balance the performance and quality.

 

Anti-Aliasing Mode: Performance
Anti-Aliasing Samples: Use application settings
Filter: Standard
Anti-Aliasing Method: Multisampling
Morphological Filtering: Off
Anisotropic Filtering Mode: Use application settings
Anisotropic Filtering Level: Use application settings
Texture Filtering Quality: Performance
Surface Format Optimization: On
Wait for Vertical Refresh: Off, unless application specifies
OpenGL Triple Buffering: Off
Tessellation Mode: AMD optimized
Maximum Tessellation Level: AMD optimized

 

If is available set the Frame Pacing to On.
If you have more than one graphic card set the CrossFireX Mode to Disabled — in some CrossFireX (AMD) or SLI (NVIDIA) case may worsen game performance rather than improve it.

 

2 — After configuring your AMD graphic card, create a text file called "commandline" and add it:

» ENB KNOWN ISSUES & SOLUTIONS:
Problem 1: Antialiasing with SSAO enabled in ENBSeries dramatically decrease performance.
Solution: Turn off antialiasing, at least do not force it in drivers.

Problem 2: Forced in drivers anisotropic filtering with SSAO enabled in ENBSeries dramatically decrease performance.
Solution: Turn off forced filtering and use internal from game or ENBSeries.

| There is no way to get to 100 fps at Maxed Out 1080p quality in a badly optimized game as GTA IV, even more with mods as Car pack, ENB and

| others heavy mod (even if you have a GTX 980).
