Cajon Posted January 28, 2015 Share Posted January 28, 2015 (edited) So I'm in the market for a new monitor, and was set on getting a Full HD 120Hz/144hz montior. But I've started to take a liking to widescreen monitors. But because 16:10 isn't as in demand as 16:9 for monitors it seems there are very few monitors that are 16:10 that have a 120hz refresh rate. So I was wondering what your opinions are? Would widescreen be better or a monitor that allowed me to 120hz refresh rate? I play a lot of games, but my most played are CSGO and ARMA. Ryan Posted January 28, 2015 Share Posted January 28, 2015 For gaming, the 120hz refresh rate on a 16:9 monitor would be more beneficial than a 60hz refresh rate on a 16:10 monitor. Personally, I prefer 16:9 over 16:10 as I find 16:10 to be too square.
