Fun little trick

For anyone who appreciates it here's a way of making someone pay for destroying your car that works on ps4 and probably all other consoles.

 

If you have a passenger in your car and build up speed head towards water and exit the car leaving him in the car which goes into the water he will get the bad sport message and have to pay the insurance cost.

 

I find it easiest to do on a mission because people will get in your car then and not shoot you.

 

Use an expensive car for max effect.

 

I usually do it at the helipad next to the marina, drive like you're going for your Pegasus vehicle, floor it and exit the car.

 

While their getting out of the car you are taking off in your helicopter, remember to send the victim a lol txt

 

Note: set vehicle access to everyone, I guess when you bail the game thinks the guy in the vehicle is responsible and blames him, have fun.

Thanks it happened to me, I was pissed at first but now I'm having fun with it.

 

But your car gets destroyed. What's the point?

Alternatively it is pure genius and highlights how flawed the Insurance/Bad Sport System in this game can be.

 

I can honestly say I might have to try this now.

 

Edit: Another fun little trick I learnt recently, the entire Railyard Survival can be completed from within a Wallbreach on PS4 (probably Xbone also and read as you can not be shot).

You could shoot the other players cars until they're on fire, but don't blow them up. The player will have to pay for their own insurance even though you practically destroyed their vehicles.

i do this while i have a bounty.

 

we all know that 99% of the people that chase you would use the stickybombs.

 

if youre in your PV they would blow you and get the bounty.

 

if youre in your friends PV, they would blow you, they would get your bounty BUT would have to pay the insurance, pretty much resulting in a negative bounty!

 

i always use my bro's chradder, tell him to put a 1k bounty on me and go bounty trollin hahaha

now that player get his car back for free.

 

economy-wrecking was my main hobby til they patched this!
