Missions for the Buzzard - Fast $ + rp

Recommended Posts

serpentofIight

The Buzzard is a light, compact helicopter for military or millionaire use. With a 5-bladed main rotor and a top speed of 175mph, it's widely considered to be the best performing helicopter in its class. These hardly ever drop out of the sky like a stone. Helicopters are one of the safest ways to travel." ― Warstock Cache & Carry description, Buzzard Attack Chopper.

If you want a good fun way to make money fast and easy solo I recommend the following:

1. find a way to complete the missions fast, solution fast vehicle.

2. ammo is expensive and will eat into your mission payout, solution use very little or none.

3. get into a habit of selling a Gallivanter Baller or a Lampadati Felon at LSC each time you join gtao then every 45 mins after that ($9K) or a gang peyote/tornado ($12.5K) - use the sad trombone glitch to increase the Ballers value to $22k!

Step 1: Forget supercars and spending thousands on haircuts, invest in a Buzzard, use the ratloader glitch to accumulate the funds to purchase it if need be. Ratloader glitch

If you already own a buzzard great, move on to step 2.

Step 2: Play the missions below solo or with others, call Pegasus for your buzzard $200, use the rockets (unlimited free ammo) to complete the missions :)

Missions that the Buzzard excels in:

Trash Talk - Use rockets to destroy trucks and everyone at the rival operation cost $200

Mixed Up With Coke - Use rockets to destroy trucks cost $200

Judging The Jury - Use rockets to take out the jurors and any cops, I recommend sniping the juror at the docks, the juror at the FIB and the juror in the petrol station from rooftops close to them cost <$250

Hit Em Up - Use rockets to take out the targets, to take out the last 3 Ballas at the motel land of the roof then shoot the Ballas hiding in the motel rooms cost <$250

Cleaning The Cathouse - Use rockets to take out the enemies then land on the roof and Anna will get in cost $200

Denial of Service - Use rockets to destroy the trucks cost $200

Artificial Scarcity - Use rockets to destroy the trucks cost $200

Blow Up 1 & 3 - Use rockets to destroy the cars cost $200

Extradition - Use rockets to destroy the Titan and kill the D.A, before going to Fort Zancudo destroy the 2 Lazers at Sandy Shores airfield then they won't be able to trouble you, normally when you enter Zancudo they take off from Sandy Shores to pursue you, cost $200

Cops Capacity - Use rockets to destroy all the police vehicles cost $200

On The List - Use Rockets to take out the targets cost $200

Water The Vineyard - Use a rocket to kill the target cost $200

Crystal Clear Out 2 - Use rockets to destroy the rival operations cost $200

Crystal Clear Out 3 - Use rockets to destroy the rival operations cost $200

The Los Santos Connection - Take out the enemies at the 1st location with rockets or bullets (don't blow up the car), get in the car to check the GPS then get back in your buzzard and fly to the location.

Hover above the laptop you're gonna hack and kill all the enemies that are there, and blow up all the cars that come, once they stop coming you can hack the laptop and no one will bother you.

Then fly to the airport destroy the suppliers plane, it will be sitting at the East end of the runway, then fly to the hangar at the other end of the runway, use rockets to take out the enemies and destroy the vehicles, the enemy at the top of the stairs is next to the coke so use a gun to kill him as the rockets will destroy the coke.

To take out the vehicles and everyone else except for the guy next to the coke hover to the right of the hangar this way you will not be able to lock on to the guy at the top of the stairs on the right and let it rain rockets on all the other targets, land, shoot the guy at the top of the stairs, get the coke, cost <$250

20131111_202532_1.jpg

I regularly play all of these missions solo, feel free to add any other missions that the Buzzard is good for. It's the most useful Pegasus vehicle imo, most missions will cost you less than $250 to complete and they can be completed quickly because the buzzard can get to different areas of the map quicker than a car. It's well worth buying and will help make you $ and rank up fairly fast.

It's very useful for defending the truck at the end of the mission for Trevor: Out of Harmony, but you'll need at least one other player to drive the truck.

Set all missions to hard for the extra rp and cash because it's easy to do all the above missions when employing the Buzzard. Playing with others will increase the rp and payout.

I also still have the Cargobob in my Pegasus list and for the mission Blow Up 2 it's very useful if you wanna complete it quick and without scratching the Banshee, just go to the lot with your Cargobob, move the yellow Banshee away from the other vehicles, park the vehicles you want to destroy close to each other then put a sticky bomb in the middle of them, get in your Cargobob and hook up the Banshee once you're high enough detonate the sticky bomb and fly to Simeons, you'll lose the cops quickly and deliver the Banshee in prefect condition to Simeon. I don't know if there's still a way to buy the Cargobob, I bought it on ps3 and it transferred over on ps4.

Overrated tbh. I have one; rarely find the need for it. Comes down to your gameplay.

stopped reading at fast money and rp....your advice is useless and erroneous considering you make more money the longer a mission takes to complete. so logic would dictate you take as long as possible to complete each mission for maximum money and rp. Additionally of the twelve missions you listed, only four have any real use for the buzzard...while its possible to do any mission in a buzzard, as pointed out being fast does not maximize profits.

It sure is, supercars, tanks, monster trucks etc will all cost similar money to buy and customize and they will lose you money if you ever decide to sell them, and the Pegasus vehicles can't be sold in short they are just purchases the Buzzard is also a purchase but like you say it is also an investment.

you are doing extradition the stupid way. steal a jet from sandy shores and blow the other one up (if playing solo or with 1 other person who should be waiting for the DA while you take out the informant) with the jet

Using the jet once you take out the D.A you need to collect the briefcase he dropped, which is on the highway full of traffic, so by the time you land the jet on the road or at the beach the buzzard will have already landed right next to the briefcase and be dropping it off at Madrazo's place. You're doing it 'the stupid way'

Good post. It's nice to have a clear list of the missions, rather than individual posts spread over dozens of threads, with 1 mission each.

And just for reference, regarding the time/payout ratio, doing a mission twice will *always* get you more money than doing it once in the same amount of time, so it's a question of personal preference. Do you want to do it quickly and repeatedly, or take your time or stop and wait at the end? I choose the first, especially with a playlist.

Doing missions faster makes more $ and rp than doing less missions at a slower pace, you'll be completing them in at least half the time using a buzzard therefore doing more than double the missions per hour and saving thousands of dollars you would've spent on ammo so by taking that into account your bank balance will be healthier on top of the extra mission payouts hence fast rp + $

There may be other missions that work for the buzzard that I've not mentioned, I play this way if I'm solo grinding, I play other missions using my cars and guns. It's just personal preference but if you wanna play legit and increase $ and rp quicker then the buzzards a good way to go imo.

Playing more jobs and saving thousands on ammo is a good thing, time is money.

Newsflash: The loading times are the same between jobs whether you're completing the job fast or slow.

youre not taking into account loading the mission, hoping back into free roam....and you're not getting maximum payout for doing los santos connection 3x's in 15 minutes.

los santos connection 15 minute payout = $20k + 4krp

los santos connection faster than ten min= $8k +3k rp

Doing missions faster makes more $ and rp than doing less missions at a slower pace, you'll be completing them in at least half the time using a buzzard therefore doing more than double the missions per hour and saving thousands of dollars you would've spent on ammo so by taking that into account your bank balance will be healthier on top of the extra mission payouts hence fast rp + $.

you would think that would be the case but think about it again a few times...with the info i gave.

Neither are you. To do it 3 times will only mean going through the loading screens an extra 2 times. If you can do the mission 3 times in the time it takes to do it once, leaving the gameplay part to reach 15 minutes, you will make more money and RP.

I'll do some testing, using Trash Talk, and see what difference it makes. I always believe actually doing these things is much more productive than us simply disagreeing with each other over opinions. I'll let you know how I get on.

but you cant do it three times in 15 minutes..you're doing it twice in 15 minutes while workng on your third at thw15 minute mark...at which point you have earned $2k less .meanwhile im on my second playthrough i will have received the max payout and rp for one playthrough working on my second.

You've totally missed the point of what I was saying. There is only *extra* loading time for two of the three times you do it. Just wait and see what happens when I actually do it, unless you have written results from tests you've done yourself that you'd care to share with us?

Solo with a buzzard I can do trash talk in 4 mins, the trucks can be taken out in less than 2 mins flying between each truck then to the rival operation which take about 1 min to kill everyone there including the crew boss with the lock on rockets.

It can be done 3 times in close to or less than 15 mins no problem including loading times.

Another possible way to increase rp is by joining a free aim lobby to launch these jobs from as the buzzards rockets still obviously lock on in free aim and I think playing in free aim gives more rp but I'm not sure if it'll work.

Potshot or crystal playlist.

I can do 3 in 15 minutes, with 10k payout of each. 30k.

Its 16 minutes for Max payout, with 50% at 4+mins

Its doing them in a playlist that makes the 48min method much better.

Only mission you can make 30k on by dragging it out is The Los Santos Connection, solo, taking all the cash on the ground.

I can make 120k in an hour doing the crystal 3 playlist. Doing LSC four times in just over an hour pays the same, but anything else, solo, wont break 100k an hour, if you are dragging them out the full 16 mins.

Alternatively you can cut down on loading and leaving times by doing it from invite only sessions. That drastically reduces loading times, on new gen at least.

Blow Up is my goto mission for leveling my characters fast. Get the buzzard and destroy the cars, it takes maybe 3 minutes at most. But the get a 3 star wanted level and fly along the highway looping the island blowing up cop cars. Takes 10-13 minutes, $14000 or more cash, 5000-8000 xp (depends on how many cops you kill). It's not the best for making money but you level pretty damn fast.

On a per mission basis, yes, the use of stall tactics may increase the total reward for one mission, but it is not the most efficient way to maximize earnings in regards to cash payout and RP.

Tested. Thoroughly. Including load times.

Alternatively you can cut down on loading and leaving times by doing it from invite only sessions. That drastically reduces loading times, on new gen at least.

So much yes to this.

If you're going to grind for RP and cash payouts, Invite Only will totally cut down on your load times. And, find a like-minded friend or three and grind in the same IO session.

That's good to know, according to R* 25% rp bonus for completing jobs in free aim, I'm gonna try free aim jobs using a buzzard from invite only sessions :)

Yes, Free Aim will net you bonus RP. I realize it's a preference, but if you're grinding missions, and you have items yet to be unlocked by way of Rank, then why not just Free Aim it for the extra 25% of RP?

And, serpenttoflight, you can still use the homing missiles on the Buzzard in FA, so enemies and ammo costs are not even an afterthought.

Stop arguing about fast or slow. 4 minutes 1 second.

That's all you need to know, there is no fast or slow there's only 4 minutes. Some missions that means waiting a bit, others it means rushing a bit. If you miss four minutes and are out to say five minutes, then you are best waiting for six. But ONLY if you miss four. You go anywhere after six or before four, well then you are wasting your time literally. Its a stupid stupid system having to play with a stop watch but the least you can do is understand it and not get robbed even more than we have been.

Lol - "Stop arguing about it, but here's my opinion!"

This is too literal. People don't go online for 15 minutes, do 1 mission and then leave. The figures we've been batting round are general. You're still better doing it quick and repeatedly.

Nice thread Op! Here's my summary

Buzzard, great investment especially if you like to do missions solo

Start missions in Free Aim / Invite only / Hard to max RP, $ and min load times

Trash Talk/ Mixed up with Coke/ Extradition/ Cops Capacity/ CCO III / High Priority Case (There's 6 that you need a Buzzard to complete quickly SOLO! )

Jets in Extradition are for people who can't steal them in free roam, they don't help the mission, but if it's the only way you can fly one go for it....

Related, if you have a Cargobob try doing Bust Out with it, f*ckin hilarious

On the point of.making $ faster, using the sad trombone glitch on a gallivanter baller u steal off the street sells for $22k

Steal a baller, drive it to lsc, go into suspension options then back out and go to horn options & apply the sad trombone horn, then sell for 22k

Might be more $ if done with a gang peyote.
