How about challenges with incentives?

Playing a lot of Destiny, I've grown to appreciate that game's daily bounty system. Whether it was killing 100 enemies in a row, completing a mission on hard, or doing some crazy killing spree in crucible, the bonuses were great, especially for leveling up your gear.

 

In GTA, we have no such thing, but with the way this game's award system (Hole In One Platinum Award = 800 RP?), there's a lot of room for improvement. Granted that these awards are accumulative, how about daily challenges to spice things up, especially in freemode? I was thinking on the line of payphone contracts like the old days. Money and RP rewards can vary, but it would be pretty cool to get $10-$25k and 5-10k RP for something on the line of shooting down 25 helicopters with the bolt-action sniper rifle, having no scratches on your car after a 10-mile drive, killing X-amount of players with the Combat Pistol, or winning X-amount of specific jobs (races, deathmatches, parachuting, etc.)... Y'know, something worth being called a challenge.

 

I know we have missions and jobs to get money, but for the massive population that stay in freemode, this would make this game's already decent longevity even better since we can actually make money without having to deal with the sh*tty matchmaking system. This might make missions obselete, but hey, I'm all in for more ways of making money and RP on my new character...

they had those back in november. challenges with $100k payouts. run them solo. once per 24 hours. they were cool. but got bored of them.

Daily challenges would be very cool and a great bonus for players.
