Question about stock market

Hey guys, I have the following question:

 

In single-player I did the Lester Assassin missions while investing in the stock market. So right now every character has around 2,1 billion. But if I invest the whole amount of money in cluckinbell for example, I can't get any profit. If a stock went bad and I sell the stock, I lose money(2,1 billion to 2,03 for example).

 

But if the stock rises, and I sell my stock, I get back the same amount I invested. While I should gain extra money (140 million on top of the 2,1 billion for example) which is displayed under profit. But I just keep getting the 2,1 back without the 140 million. So right now I can only lose money on the stock market(LCN). Is this a bug, am I unaware of something or am I doing it wrong?

i think 2.1b is the max amount of money you can have. The rest should stay as owned shares in the company you sold shares from.

Thanks, that's it! I always thought the max was 9999999999, but it's 2,147, 483, 264.
