If you change your Gamertag.?

So let's say I buy an Xbox one and change my Gamertag (using the same XBL Acct)

Does that mean I can't transfer my character or what...?

I've heard one instance of someone being able to do that... though it'd be safer to just wait until AFTER you transfer your character to try the GT change.

As long as it is the same account you used to play GTA on 360 than yes you can change your GT but like Johan be safe than sorry and wait until AFTER the transfer
