Hello everybody,

 

I am going to be starting a weekly video review series comprising the best user-generated content created by members of both the GTAForums and GTA Content Creators Crew (GCCC). Each week I will produce a video review showcasing the top 5 user-created jobs on Playstation 4 submitted the previous week. This can be any job type, the only stipulation is that it must be a Playstation 4 version job.

 

The deadline for the first week of submissions is Friday 6th February with the first video to be released via my youtube channel at a day TBD the following week. From then on the submission deadline for the following week will be the following Friday, so 13th, 20th etc.

 

To keep things both fair and manageable I kindly ask that you only submit ONE of your own creations per week (this is to ensure quality over quantity, I want to play the best). You may also sumbit ONE job from another player (to allow those players who are not GCCC members or active forummers to participate too). It is not necessary to submit both types, either/or is just fine. Please note that multiple entries/lists/spam WILL be ignored, so don't do it, thanks.

 

Depending on the overall quality of the submissions I may also have an honorable mentions section in text format via the forums and youtube video description with a link to each showcased job on the R* social club. I'll also post the video and list after they are published on this dedicated thread on both forums.

 

N.B. Please do not send me submissions via either PM or Rockstar Social Club. It is my wish that the selection and submission process be as transparent as possible and this would not be possible via these methods. Apologies for any incovenience these restrictions may cause, I will review this once things are up and running to see about other avenues of expansion.

its set for sports but its also very fun with muscles. The more the merrier! you can do gta but its better as just a race I think.

Reviewers, reviewers everywhere. Not that it's a bad thing, community feedback is something all creators need. I'll start off by submitting a capture I need some comments on:

 

Raid: Kortz Wars

A 30 player capture in the huge area of the Kortz Center, many different routes can be taken and many choke points will occur. Recommended for 6 players or more to fill the capture's full potential.

 

I played this last night with a few friends, it was 3v3. Seemed a good map, nice location BUT there was one problem that currently makes the match severely unbalanced. The team that starts at the far side re-spawns roughly half the time INSIDE a container behind the back wall. This means you have to faff about getting out of the container, then climbing several objects to get back to your bags up top. By this time the other team are already well over the halfway threshold meaning it's a constant battle just to prevent any steals, let alone make any kind of headway going forward. I was informed by the other team they had no such issues...

 

To fix this just move the spawn cone slightly further forward so it is not covering the container. The game doesn't seem to regard objects in the map when it comes to capture spawns, only solid buildings, so it's not seeing that there's a container in the way and is thinking it's fine to spawn, hence this issue.

 

If you can fix this over the weekend i'd be happy to have another go of the revised edition, hopefully with more people as I think it has potential. :-)

that guy was on the forums a while back... he told me to get a cabin near a lake and get some good kush. Oh and I don't think there's another 20 million jobs made in there. People come to this section to get something new ffs!

Yeah but the difference its a capture with working actor respawns and players respawns...no jobs like its I recommend first person and you can find some proximity mines and homing launchers

Could you be a bit more specific on which side are you talking about? Because I can't tell which one talking about, but I would assume that it's the one with the maze bank monument?

It probably is but still I'm tired of seeing these same old gimmicks. It's either interior. $$$+RP, meele or jets/tanks getting used by most of the creator community.

 

I've got 50k total plays on over 70 jobs... 20k of them plays are on one job that used to be called NUKETOWN(re-named now). So even I've used a gimmick there, but it pisses me off that they lobbies fill up much quicker than the decent, outside jobs. I'm one of the few people who's actually chuffed that R* have disallowed access to the interiors... because everyone and their dogs have made a DM inside them, some sh*te, some good and balanced.

 

They had to put a stop to it because that's all most people were making and tbh we have enough (most random invites I get are in the FIB) plus some have awful camera angles due to being in such a small area. I'm sure we've all got some bookmarked so it is time to move on and maybe use the rest of the map. PS- The large burning FIB map is one of the worst, glitchy maps I've ever played, looks cool but damn the action on that is sh*t... people always pair it with assualt shotguns, so that tells you something about the creators if they need that at such close range!

 

If it makes you feel any better, Humane Labs is my favourite interior location, that and combat pistols in the small FIB. Also glad to see your now replying to people with a lot more decorum.

Well I never put the assault shotgun as forced...i prefer pistol and combat pistol love the micro smg and ak,just wish rockstar would get half the stuff on the creator bugs and wish list thread has most of my suggestions...

I shouldn't have put the two pump shotguns in my humane lab deathmatch...wish there was a way to click on a gun and then change it to any one of your choice.

Hey man, it's the far end of that location, close to the fountain. I believe it's the west side of the map.

This is a very nicely done capture, great location and the cargobobs are a unique touch, very funny as time passed seeing more and more abandoned and destroyed copters littering the battlefield, made things rather hectic as play progressed! I played this with a bunch of friends, all of us had mics and even so it was a challenge getting out alive. I love the fact that the cases are spread apart so once you've managed to get one you have to make the decision of whether or not to risk a second or cut loose with what you've got, but even that is a challenge with so much chaos surrounding you!

 

I think possibly the actors are a tad overpowered, they seemed to be a little too accurate, perhaps tone down their accuracy a notch? We were playing 4v4 and between them, other players and constantly invading helicopters it sometimes got difficult to know which way to look next! Also, and this is more of an aesthetic suggestion, the team capture points seem a little random, just a couple of hills, perhaps you could use the props to build some basic cabins next to each of them, just to enhance the overall narrative a touch? The lights that surround the camp are a great visual touch that really capture the concept of a goverment raid in the dead of the night. It's little touches like that can really make a job stand out amongst the sea of mediocrity that permeates the online world.

Hey man, it's the far end of that location, close to the fountain. I believe it's the west side of the map.

Alright. Are you talking about the small parking box or the wood pile?

Yeah, the weapon spawn points were fine, I'll have to play it again because although my team won I failed to deliver a single bag myself! :-p

 

I recommend the stair case at the back in a team of two.

 

One stays with the cargobob, one attacks, if the attacker is killed the second player takes his place and the original attacker gets his ass back in place with a Cargobob.

 

Everyone else I know likes to fly to the far side in big numbers, I'm more of a lone wolf though :lol:

Really enjoyed this race, love those technical tracks that visit some of the lesser seen areas and sideroads of LS, worked superbly with muscle cars, sliding around was very enjoyable! One checkpoint is a little dodgy though, on exit from the red parking lot there's a tight right-hand hairpin where the checkpoint is unsighted and as you exit it appears you have to go right rather than do a quick 180 back down the adjacent alleyway. I'd either move the checkpoint or put props tighter to make it clear sooner that a hairpin is coming up.

Okay, I see what your saying. I pushed the checkpoint out further while exiting the parking lot. This made the arrows point back a little more. I also wrapped the barriers around more at a angle and closer. Try that and let me know if that helps.

My apologies, after watching the gameplay footage I realise the part I meant is the right hand hairpin as you exit the open air parking lot, the one you actually enter after exiting the red parking garage.

Inspired from the most iconic map Dust2 in Counter Strikes franchise. Team 1 as Terrorist and Team 2 as Counter Terrorist, your mission is to kill as many enemy as you can in the time limit, and survive.

is now uploaded so please do take a look, a big thank you to everyone who submitted a job for consideration, please do not be disheartened if yours wasn’t chosen this time and feel free to submit another!

 

 

A few changes to the format going forward:

 

- You can now submit a job via either of these forum links or if you prefer as a social club link.
- I will not be relying solely on submitted content for my content, although by submitting your job for consideration you’ll guarantee I at least give it a look, hopefully I’ll unearth some hidden gems out there. I wanted to only go by submissions but not everyone seems to be prepared to leave links for me, so I guess I’ll have to go a-hunting!
- Although initially I was going to do this as a weekly video review, I think it’s more realistic if I release the episodes as and when I have enough quality content to showcase. That said, I’ll still be aiming to upload a new episode at least every 2 weeks. As far as the limits to submissions go, I’ll still limit it to ONE of your own creations per episode gap, but feel free to submit AS MANY jobs from other creators as you see fit.

I'm currently looking to revive an otherwise almost abandoned creation from back when R* announced the LTS contest. For a while it just sat there until I replayed the job with friends and revised it. After a while I submitted it to an event to one of my crews and someone said something nice about the map so I figured it was enough to revive the dinosaur, so I'm looking for your consideration on the job and ways to make the atmosphere, weapons, and experience better. Make sure to use the train too if you're on the team at the west side.

The train track along Paleto Bay has been turned into a narrow battlefield littered with weapons, motorbikes, and lunatics splitting themselves into 4 teams quenching their thirst for bloodlust.
