ok so heres a bit of a weird one after looking up the buffalo s and looking up the real life cost of a charger i noticed the difference in the cost was huge $96000 for the gta car and in real life version starting at $27,995

so after looking at this my point is how do other cars compare to this mark up or in some cases mark down what car has the biggest price difference

Real life dollars and GTA $ have absolutley no correlation.

The only sthing remotely close to accurate are snacks.

LightningLord

Bugatti Veyron - $2,250,000/Truffade Adder - $1,000,000

Lamborghini Veneno - $4,500,000/ Pegassi Zentorno - $725,000

AMC Pacer - ~$7000 (?)/Declasse Rhapsody - $140,000

Just to name a few.

Exactly, am30 mentioned in another thread that the Heavy Dump is a bargain at 1 mill, compared to its real life counterpart the Cat 797 which is 5 mill.

USD is doing remarkably well nowadays. 1 GTAD = 3.4 USD

Actually that would mean it takes 3.4 USD to get 1 GTA$. That's a horrible exchange rate considering it only goes one way

The money in GTA is only relevant to how much Rockstar breaks apart the cost of the DLC.

If you add up everything new together it usually gives a somewhat even number which matches a usually DLC cost for other games. It's actually kind of cool.

If we were talking real life prices the Stinger GT and Z Type would be by far the most expensive vehicles in game. They would make the Adder look like a bargain in comparison.

Wished the Dodge Challenger was that cheap in real IRL.

I've thought for a while now that rockstar needed to change their prices when it comes to buying. I also think property prices should go up and down like they would in the real world.

on a bit more research the monroe was $490000 and it was the same price that nick cage bought his for in an auction might be the only accurate car in terms of price

The Buffalo S from the OP is based on an SRT8 Charger, which would be closer to the $45k to $50k range, and with the new Hellcat model it can be as much as $70k new. Again not spot on with GTA dollars, but closer than the $28k in the OP.

Cage paid more for his Muira than anyone else in history though.

If you steal a car off the street the price is the same IRL

yeah, but if it ends in a shootout with the cops and they kill you at least you can come back in GTA V. :p

Yeah but they'd have to catch you without super speed boost first lol

The gen 2 mitsubishi eclipse has an average price of 11.5k nowadays. The gta version is just south of 1.4 f*ckin mil. Grinded my ass off for that car bc I fell in love with them and I want more of them with different build set ups. But holy sh*t they r over priced- 🤣😭
