I know it's not the most rewarding missions in terms of money etc but it's frustrating me that I can't do it.

 

Without a helicopter, once you've climbed the crane, taken out all the guys, parachuted on to the roof to get the case and taken out the chopper, is the only way down to walk the red things back to the crane?

 

Must have done this mission about 15-20 times only to end up falling walking back to the crane!!

simple :

land on maze bank helipad

snipe goons guarding the landing zone

land on the site and take out all of the goons

get the briefcase

lose or takeout the pursuing helicopter

land or bail out to the last objective

 

helicopters can be gained from vespucci helipad or merryweather's pickup . if u have " ownership certificate " , then u can use the purchased helicopter on this mission

There is another parachute you can pick up on the roof of the building site. Use it to parachut off, land, kill any people in grangers and call for a car

As an aside, this is the ONE mission where an Annihilator is an advantage, as you can seat two players on one side, both with access to Combat MG etc, and hover alongside the briefcase floor to let them clear it out.

I've managed to do it now anyway, bought a buzzard and used rockets to take out the men on the roof.

Get in a helicopter and call a backup chopper from merryweather and make them clear out all the guys, or just use a buzzard / ask a friend who has the buzzard to play the mission with you. Honestly I hate this mission cause half the time I do it, I die. The payouts not that good either, since you need a chopper. Try extradition, it pays $20g every time

OP, wait until you hit level 43 and can buy your Buzzard, then you can do it solo

You can clear out basically the entire mission with a sniper rifle from the FIB building the maze bank option is for amateur snipers. Get a ruffian and steal a chopper from somewhere. The police station next to RR often has choppers during missions.
