MitchMaljers Posted October 8, 2015 Share Posted October 8, 2015 I love the "old" Cavalcade and every time I see one that looks decent it makes me want to go get one in the game, but every time I'm so disappointed with how awful it sounds. I don't understand why they didn't just keep the V8 sound from GTA IV instead of the horrible engine sound we have this time. You can't even order an Escalade with anything other than a V8, and Rockstar loves to make fun of American cars for having oversized motors, so I don't understand why they felt they needed to change it. Yeah, I really am a fan of Albany vehicles (and Cadillac in general). I've owned every Albany vehicle. But from what I can remember (I haven't played Online in months), I own a Emperor, Cavalcade 1, Primo, Washington, and a Manaña I think. Great vehicle line-up which sacrifice speed for durability, looks, and luxury. To each his own. One of my greatesr wishes for GTA is the ability to change tire/rim diameter/height/width so we can all have what we desire. Those two, however, I'll never sell. I don't think many players at level 300+ still have/like the Emperor, but I do and I've had it for ages. It is so classy in every way, and I love cruising in it while I listen to the subtle rumble of the engine. I have only painted it and changed the rims - everything else is stock to the bone. For me it's perfect that way. It's not a job car of course, and it's not meant to be. I have so many other cars for that. It had everything going for it with the rear end and haunches and wheels and cockpit and badging. But then you get to the front and you're just like "Euh" like the old designer died and somebody with a lack in taste and creativity took over at the last minute. Man, if the Alpha had a Presidente front end or something more refined, it would be the sexiest car in the game. Such a shame that well rounded cars are few and far in between... I always thought it was based on the mirage Concept cadillac had a couple years back. Not saying your wrong for feeling that way about it. But I dont think its rockstars designer this time.
