Lol @ the people who want a racist, homophobic c*nt back.

He got what he deserved. He was an annoying prick. Read the facts first before you post please and take those rose tinted glasses off.

He gave me some good laughs and gave the man the finger. He told a hard truth, even if it was the truth.

My bad, I miss the dude, that's all.

Anyway, on the topic: TLAD actually felt like a piece of the puzzle, or maybe a bigger piece, so it felt as if without it, the IV saga wouldn't be "complete", so I'd say that. TBOGT gets better with age, at least to me. I appreciate being able to pop bottles at the club and do drug wars when I'm not doing missions.

Originally voted for TBoGT, but changed it to TLad. I recently bought this game again and I'm having lots of fun on TLaD, very interesting, exciting, and the second GTA where gun fights are actually fun (VC by a second behind).

TBOGT.

TLAD has great characters and story. It's good for the singleplayer. The new side missions we're cool, especially the air hockey which is my personal favorite. But, it barely adds interesting weapons, and the bulk of the motorcycles and choppers look quite the same. It corresponded well with the vanilla IV story, being as gritty as the last was.

TBOGT has mediocre story and characters. Luis seems like the classy, party all night type of guy. Nightclubs have some neat activities, although it somewhat doesn't fit to the essence of a GTA game. The story wasn't compelling. Each mission starts with Tony saying that's it's all over, that he has a huge problem and asks Luis to deal with it. The missions we're indeed very action packed, like the hijacking of a train car, or the APC. However their background felt 'meh'.

Finally, i've picked TBOGT, mainly because it adds some pretty good stuff to the game. The Buzzard, APC, parachuting, MG, sticky bombs, and some other cool rides. There was more things to do in LC, such as golfing and cage fights. It added a lot of replay value to the multiplayer at the time, while TLAD not so much.

In short - TBOGT better for MP, action packed missions and adds a lot to free roam, while TLAD 'just' for the story.

Although I don´t love TBoGT as much as vanilla IV and TLaD, there´s one thing really great about it. I don´t know how often I got stuck after pausing the game...just chilling and listening to this:

Hmm tuff choice I personally like both DLC's But I for the story I would go for tlad. I think the story is just so deep and good in everyway. It's sucks how the entire lost mc members just destroyed them-selves. Billy was such an a**hole . He literally had no respect for johnny. It all ended up with killing billy and burning the lost club house. There's were only 3 people left that johnny could trust terry, clay and Angus (dude in the wheel chair). So for me tlad had a interesting story. And then seing Trevor killing johnny is like wow....

Nah Stubbs was the politician, wheelchair dude is Angus.

Damn! I knew that quote was wrong! And yes Angus is the guy in the wheel-chair not Stubbs. I need to play the tlad story again. Edited by GTA_The_Series

TLaD.

Dark, deep story like IV, except with bikers. I still remember the first time I played it. The memories...

If I had to pick one, I'd probably say TLAD. I enjoyed both though more than IV.

The Lost and Damned. I pretty much prefer everything in it to about anything The Ballad of Gay Tony has to offer. The story, characters, atmosphere, side-missions (along with their rewards), weapons, vehicles, soundtrack and even multiplayer.

I chose TLAD because of so many reasons. One is the gritty feel of LC. In IV, it was plain. In TLAD it’s so gritty and rightfully so as living the life of a biker is always gritty (in the game at least). I like how we see the world through Johnny’s eyes. It’s awesome. He’s a great character it sucks he died though.

TLAD. Not just due to my subjective taste, but since the biker theme is unique in the GTA franchise, while the TBOGT luxury vehicles over-the-topness isn't.

TBOGT. It lets us witness LC from a different angle. Also had a lot of gameplay perks that were expected from vanilla IV.

I love both games equally. For personal preference, TBOGT. I like vibrant nightlife stuff. TLAD was basically "Angry White Boy sh*t" as Playboy X would describe.

Edit: But I do like the carnage and destruction from TLAD.

and Triad 1 was sexier in TLAD while in TBOGT he's just a wrinkly old man. Gross.

of course i am but i’m also in GSF for life and tbogt reminds me of that with its ott gameplay(still think most of them pointless missions though lol), i can be in the both at same time right? :) . the reason i said i don’t like which i like more was gta tlad was perfect in almost everyway like gta4 but tbogt offers a few things i also like, means while i don’t mind tlad/gta 4 not having those and like them for what they are i still like the type of tbogt in a different way that gta4/tlad don’t have.

I prefer the more grounded gameplay of IV and TLAD overall but I really appreciate getting a different type of gameplay in TBOGT. That's the best thing about having three different games imo, so you can play from three different perspectives (dark grounded crime story/gameplay, biker gang story/gameplay and more glitzy and over the top nightlife themed story/gameplay). Liberty City is awesome so it's cool to get to try doing the more over the top stuff in it as well as playing in it as a more grounded setting. Because we have all three games we can have our cake and eat it too.
