wich episodic content do you like more?

both are different in every way even though they take place in the same city at the same time:
meth darkness vs fabulous light, serious and depressing storytelling vs misions given by Yusuf Amir, interference filter vs rainbow scheme, Wheels of Steel vs
, heaven shaved chap wearing assholes vs tidy hair chap wearing c*nts, Johnny K vs Luis Lopez...
you get my point, please state reasons why you prefer "X" instead of just posting the name of the DLC, thanks.
EDIT: my grammar/english sucks big time, i can't even post properly (at least i'ma better than Greenrock , amirite?)

TLAD hands down. I like that TBOGT gives another side of the city with the nightclubs and what not, but I feel TLAD fits in better with GTA IV's serious tone. Plus the gameplay features like gang wars, bike races etc are awesome.

Johnny's also a great character too IMO.

TLAD. The story was the best out of IV. Couldn't stand Luis, only played his story once.

TLAD.
Why? The Lost MC, Johnny, Gang Wars, the Storyline and because I couldn't bring myself to like TBOGT story cuz I hated almost the entire cast with a few exceptions.

Haha, that explanation of each is golden.

I've got to pick TBOGT. I'm personally a big fan of mixed martial arts so seeing cage-fighting pop up was awesome for me. Living the life like a slick, executive, sexy (too far?) character with some cool fighting skills (though every protag has the same animations, but it's canon for Luis) in the bright lights in the big city was awesome. The parachuting the nitro racing and drug running was all fun. Therefore it's clear I liked TBOGT more.

However I do find TLAD story much more engaging, dark and gritty and has that feel of brotherhood, nevertheless my vote goes for TBOGT.

TLaD is an easy choice for me. It's the best story in the series, well written, with amazing characters and thoroughly entertaining gameplay that creates a perfect outlaw biker experience.

However, TBoGT deserves a lot of praise too. While weaker in the story department, it fills a gameplay niche that IV and TLaD didn't. It is a comedy game with sharp writing and a great character work and it has some of the best missions in the series.

I really like TBoGT, the comedic tone worked great and the brighter side of Liberty City was welcome after two serious games. That said, i prefer TLAD. I like tragic stories and the grimy feel it gives off is very unique. Johnny's world is the most deprived, which i prefer most when compared to Niko's gloomier city and Luis' glamorous version. The new guns reeked of criminality and the new bikes were so original. The new bike handling was and still is my favorite driving in video games.

Definitely The Lost and Damned. It's probably up there as my second or third favourite GTA. Johnny was a fantastic protagonist and the storyline itself is amazing and I feel is vastly underrated when it comes to the best of the series. The final cutscene of Get Lost, the final mission, is hands down my favourite cutscene in the entire series, and the only one to bring a tear to my eye. The original music is great too, the opening cutscene and the matching "mission complete" tones as well as the fade out to the credits is simply impeccable. Everything about the game is beautiful and nothing is bad. The characters themselves were intriguing and interesting, whether they be the Lost brothers or side characters like Tom Stubbs III.

Now The Ballad of Gay Tony is a very different story. It is my least favourite GTA. It was everything that a GTA IV DLC didn't need to be. It ruined the dark grittiness of the previous two games with immature jokes, stupid missions and the most annoying characters of any GTA. Not a single character in The Ballad was likeable in any way, shape or form. Gay Tony was annoying as f*ck and a stupid character to have the protagonist look up to, Luis was a douchebag who really only cared about getting a bit of pussy, Luis' mom was a whining bitch, Evan was an exaggerated c*nt while those two hoodlums that Luis hung out with were bitchy and lacked any sense of logic. The game turned Ray Bulgarin from a badass Russian in GTA IV into a f*cking goon who liked playing guitar and annoying his sister. The missions were stupid and over the top, and like many of the characters, lacked any logic or reason and by the end were seeming to be done purely for the f*ck of it.

There is not a single thing right about The Ballad of Gay Tony.

i find phenomenal how all 3 IV stories are so different with diff vibe to them...

TLAD was grittier and bettery storyline, but TBOGT was more fun with more to do - and i really love nightclubs/nightlife, so having that done so well in game...

hell ill vote for Lost And Damned, but in reality i cant choose.

I enjoy both. The darker, grittier story of TLaD was nice after playing IV because you're used to the tone. It explored Alderney more, which was nice and they put a greater emphasis on groups and gangs. After those two dark stories, you get to TBoGT. The bright and contrasting view of Liberty City was another great addition to further our look at LC. TBoGT was almost exactly the opposite of TLaD, as it was bright and put a greater emphasis on doing it alone, as Luis wants to make something of himself and Tony. Both had great stories and you could spend hours in both. It all depends on your personal interests on choosing which one is better. I like both, so choosing one is difficult. Maybe one day I will.

On topic: I liked TLAD more because it fit the serious tone of IV. But I also liked TBoGT, my vote is going to TLAD. I liked the criminal weapons and all the new bikes, including the new bike handling.

new bike handling?

you guys mean Johnny's ass being glued to the seat?
i choosed TLaD because of the guns (i take Johnny's boomstick over tactical toys everyday) the bikes, of course, the biker culture and the gang wars and bike races (races are so f*cking addictive).

The bike handling in TLAD is much more different than Johnny being glued to the bike, it takes just a first try to note the difference, not even 5 minutes of playing.

As for the poll, I like both DLCs equally, really, both are polar opposites but they are greatly balanced, I will chose TBoGT just because it deserves some more love.

Johnny is glued to the bike, a bit too much in my opinion, I'd personally tone it down a bit, and there are no changes in bike handling I agree, old bikes handle the same and new bikes handle in their own way.

Wheels Of Steel, no discussion there. You'd have to have bad taste to pick Arab Money over it.

Not that Johnny is glued, but the bikes have better traction and steer much better than original IV, but still keeps the great driving style.

I chose TLAD

Gangwars > Dancing+Parachuting

Drug Wars?

I liked both.

One had a gang wars, bad-ass missions, bike thefts...and the other had the Buzzard, drug wars, dancing, booty calls...

Can't really decide.

i disagree, crashing a car with johnny in a bike and making it do a barrel roll it's one of the best things about the character. Edited by Midnight Hitman

Johnny was a nice preview of what Marston was going to be like. Both had a soft spot for women, hesitant to kill without reason, and have an ending that is unbecoming.

I greatly prefer The Lost and Damned of The Ballad of Gay Tony. The gang wars, biker culture, characters, clubhouse, weapons, story and gritty feel kept me interested 'till the end, while The Ballad of Gay Tony grew tired rather quickly. Luis Lopez has all the personality of a mime, whereas Johnny Klebitz lived life like one day someone would stomp his head in. I enjoyed many of the features of The Ballad of Gay Tony such as the dancing, club management, weapons, underground fight club, new vehicles, but that is all the redeeming qualities I can think of.

I hate the cast of Ballad but I thought it was more challenging so I give it to Ballad.

Lost had a very good plot though.

I ride with TLAD all the way. I do feel that the Police Bike introduced in TBOGT's MP should have been in TLAD's MP instead. I say this because it ties into the biker theme better.

I f*cking loved TBOGT. The music, weapons and vehicles all appealed to me. The drug wars, triathlons and night clubs were very nice additions too and gave you a lot to do outside of missions. The fact that you could restart any mission was a nice touch as well, so if you wanted to play a particular mission you wouldn't need to start another save. TLaD was better story-wise IMO, but I didn't like the vehicles or weapons, which are a big part of my enjoyment. Plus it's hard for me to relate to bikers and bikes aren't really my thing... the whole atmosphere didn't appeal to me nearly as TBOGT's atmosphere.

TLAD. Johnny is way better than Luis in every way. the plot is written a lot better. characters are more real. bikes are awesome. guns are badass, assault shotgun, automatic pistol, stickybombs. etc. gang wars and races are fun and addictive.

The gritty harsh atmosphere of TLAD beats the flashy nightcluby feel of TBOGT for me basically. i like TBOGT cause of the fun and whatnot. a little over the top missions and characters. its more easy to play. but i wouldnt prefer it over TLAD. if TLAD was a full game it would probably have beaten IV for me.

TBoGT does it for me. APC, Buzzard, M249, auto shotgun with explosive shells and sticky bombs, 'nuff said.
