Lemoyne outlaw Posted January 25, 2015 Share Posted January 25, 2015 so i play alot of cod yes hate on me if you will but i love it. but for those of you who havent played it an emp is an electromagnetic pulse basically a nuclear missle detonates in space and destroys all electronics in cod its in a campaign mission and a multiplayer killstreak. so i was wondering seeing as how alot of people are dependant on technology how would you react if one occured? i might be scared at first but then i would just pray and read my books. I'm not happy to admit it, but I depend on technology very much. sadly thats how alot of people are no offense. i like technology to but i wouldent be too scared because just think during the 1800s and back thats how people lived they rode horses used telegraghs and stuff. the amish live like that now they dont use technology. But the thing is, back then they didn't have all this tech to take advantage of. As a society, the western world has a huge dependence on tech. Everything would grind to a halt and there would be riots everywhere. It's not the lack of tech you need to be scared about in a situation like this. Everyone depending on electronic devices to live would die (pacemakers, weee), death people would pile up in hospitals, communications would die altogether, you wouldnt even know if it happened in your city or globally, most recent cars would be rendered unusable, hell would break loose as soon as night fell, panic would reign the streets, cities would collapse and people would spread towards the outskirts attempting to survive....
