how has the filesize changed, the one I issued to everyone was 62Megs?

OK, great! I'm getting depressed here, I need a little break, and we need base land for the third island... And I have no clue how to modernise any further, damn! I'll be back later today or tomorrow, but I need inspiration... sad.gif I mean, the two city's probably look allright allready, but not up-to-date... So... See y'all later!

For now take a break.. Everyone has done well..

 

But I really need to know if andy has sorted the patch..

 

Made a boundry+limits+2dfx all in one patch.

Yes, after I said this I will take a little rest, not stopping to build the third island though, I've made some progress, I will put a screen up here soon and I will be making progress on the island... I've finished a car garage, a hospital, some streets, (Finally!) and some houses... Textured them too. That's it for now, I'll be probably building more, but also taking some rest from the project... biggrin.gif

Damn it.. I was able to get it the first time, now I can't! Does this version have 2DFX disabled? I then could work and see if things actually work out!

 

For the people who don't have the mod yet have boundries patched, I just want to show the island I made for this mod (muahhaah it's in the 5000 y ranges!)

I'm going to add the stadium...

 

Save as tebous.ipl, create a new folder in maps called tebous and stick it in there. Then go to the data folder and click on gta-vc.dat and go to the right end where the interiors are put. Put IPL DATA\MAPS\tebous\tebous.ipl.

 

Now go to the second island and find the dirtbike track near the stadium! catloaf_by_anuj.gif

I've been working on the third island, and what I have now is: 1. A car showroom. 2. Tedsnack, the new foodrevolution! 3. Some houses and a garage. 4. A hospital. 5. A police departement. 6. Roads.

The screen is quite messy, it's from ZModeler... I'll be working on the city, but texturing is not going very fast...

 

@Nipa: How's the website going, who's working on it... I mate of mine could help build it or build it fully, with some nice Photoshop effects, he has been in some tuning magazines in Holland with his work, so the quality shouldn't be a prob...

 

Hope everyone likes the mod so far, and the third island/city will be as big as Liberty so we could use some ppl, but for now I'm fine... biggrin.gif

Island in my sig, and magiclly I got boundries patch to work with nocd (hint:andy had a part in it) I removed all 2dfx from the vice ides, but my game still crashes.. Can someone hook me up with a version that loads up? I need to get a feel for the moved vice + mission coding, I mean seriously, I don't want to use a dummy object in moo mapper then get coords then delete!

teun.steenbekkers, you really need to hand over the .col renamer! and for some reason, when you look at lc in steve-m's map viewer.. well i say goddamn it fuxxored up! I only can see VERY few objects but I can see the tunnels alright...

 

Someone, please just give me the col renamer to see if it works!

Okay I downloaded the GTASA-LVC mod but do not know how to install it. I see alot of GTA:LC files like comNtop and stuff that is not VC. is it possible that you guys could of put special files in your zip file like put data folder for all of the modded data files from your mod and same for the models folder and text folder makes it alot easier to figure out. Also can you post a gta3.img file with all of the modded files you guys made for this GTASA-LVC.

 

I am also just wondering why is this called GTASA-LVC I mean the GTA-LVC I understand but the SA this project I think has nothing to do with SA right now.

No what i mean is bunch up the files so people can install the GTASA-LVC alot easier because people will be definitly be confused of how to install this mod it makes it easier to put them in folders so people know which file goes in what folder.

mine version does have folders and locations where to put it all, keep up the good work guys, and nipa just send PM so that you wont get hunt down bu the mods.

Oh about how to install the mod... I couldn't of made it any easlier,

just turns out some people are to lazy to read, the 'Read Me First!!!' doc.. that I put in the archive.

 

 

I can NOT help you in any way of a NO-CD patch, as these CD hacks are

illegal.. I will not support people who ask for them.. period.

 

I'll only help those with a real copy of GTA.

Are you talking about the GTASA-LVC on the SA engine. Someone said you guys are gonna do that anytime.

We are gonna move evrything to the San Andreas engine when there are more tools available for SA. For now, we're finishing the Vice City version.

Yes we are going to the SA engine soon.. (I feel like im repeating myself again)

 

I've heard there is a mapping tool being worked on, when that comes out, i'll move onto SA..

 

I'll still continue on the VC engine..

 

It's nice that we will have 2 versions when all is said and done.

 

I'll be working on tools soon, that your beable to drag and drop a VC object and it will be convert it into an SA object.

 

as I used alot of scripts in converting all the IDE and IPLs from GTA3 to VC.

 

I'll be doing SA the same way.

Yeah I know there are alot of SA tools to start mapping already like the map cleaner and 3Ds Maxes import scirpt to put all GTA3 and GTA:VC dff's into SA format for the SA engine and even a col creater.

well the importing and exporting VC and LC dff's to SA format is the only way I heard of that gets the LC and VC dff's in SA's engine. And alot of people are doing that in order to get LC or VC or both in the SA engine.

 

Since you and Mckay are gonna put VC and LC and another island on the SA engine and since SA has planes are you guys gonna make LC a far distance from VC and vise-versa so to fly to LC from VC it would take about a 2 minute flight to get there. Now that would be the coolest ever.

 

Would be really cool to see LC on the SA engine with the new SA graphics for LC.

Im waiting for Andy`s reply on the limiter patch still!..

 

As im waiting for that. I'm working on scripts for SA... No worries..

IPL and IDE convertion.. Cords and a Dff, TXD mass converter.

 

LC and VC converted into SA will not be a problem.

yes we all know about the GTA-LVS team but they are doing a San Andreas and Vice City and Liberty City in one and this team Mckay and the other people working with him are doing a Liberty City and Vice City and a new map in one on the SA engine and that is different from the GTA-LVS team.
