Srry for the double post, but this is called Remote `Access to a database`. If I can get Wizard to start his server and install MYSQL and PHP and whatever (Use EasyPHP, it´s easy!), then I can make it remotely access the database, so both sites run on the same database! Yay! I hope I can do this...

 

EDIT: Wiz, when you get here, I can pack my Dragonfly installation so you can put it on your server, and then I could try to set this remote thing up. But then we'd have to host the database somewhere else right? Would there be Lycos ads when you use a database hosted on it?

Hey dude I have been busy I haven't forgotten you but about your concerns my FTP server and my website are 2 different things. Anything I host is property of the teams not mine and that is via FTP only. So only the team has access to FTP makes sense don't you think.???

 

As for hosting the site that is my personal website which if you haven't checked it out yet ( which I don't recomend since it might make you a homicidal killer or something) http://fbhp.codenext.net/wordpress/ there is the link by the way

is where the GTA SOL site can be hosted cleared up yet?

 

In other news I am in the process of getting the Manhunt Files from another user on the forums to add carcer city to this project. I will keep you all posted on the progress of that and add screen shots as well in the near future.

just a thought... I found a mod for Tommy Vercetti to use in San Andreas where you can still change

his clothes and haircut, like CJ's model. I thought that in choosing characters you could make it so

you can choose between CJ, Tommy, or Claude while still being able to change their clothes,

haircuts, and body type. Just something I thought would be a nice feature...

 

 

You guys are doing a great job so far though, this is one mod I can't wait to try!

I've finished the random map editor, today i'm going to see if i can cut out peaces for it.

well it says in their information that they are putting San Andreas into this and

I assumed it would be made for San andreas, because doesn't Vice city have a limit of

Taking things from San Andreas. ok, so I was thinking they were going to use the san andreas engine and I was wondering if they

would incorporate the vercetti in sa mod into it because the model is better than the one for Vice City. That's what I was thinking.

Well Mc-kay already told me that they are not going to finish the GTA San Andreas project, but it will be a target to place San Andreas in Vice City. I think there isn't much original from the Vice City game left in that mod. San Andreas is too unmoddable

EDIT: Chris, I can't send any messages over MSN, so I'll do it here. RWAnalyze (steve-m.com) can open .bsp files (and any other RenderWare file I think) so you can save that as a DFF and try to import it 3dsmax to see if it exported OK. If it works (I hope) you can put them in!
