also I wanted to report that i have been getting a bunch of people interested in GTA Underground on LS-RP.. so thats always a plus :)

Underground and Trilogy team:

As you can see on the topic, X-Seti wants Underground team to work on Trilogy aswell. With this, I have decided to take on Trilogy aswell, while X-Seti will work on Infusions.

X-Seti wants:

Same ID layout for SA and VC Trilogy

New LC conversion for Underground and Trilogy

To work on Infusions

I (dkluin) want(s):
Work spread evenly throughout the SOL team

LC re-converted to SA, using SA generics, but still using X-Seti's ID layout.

More publicity, the more the better.

Someone to look after Stories version (It's not dead)

X-Seti has returned people, things can start now.

I was a bit mislead when you said 2D version. It wouldn't truly be a 2D version if it was in the 3D Era games as you have a different perspective. That being said, it still would be cool to visit all 2D cities basically side-by-side.

Pretty amazing, as we have access to VC/III/SA beta maps + 2D era maps I think we should blend in some 2d era stuff aswell.

Yup, but only InFusions will be ported to GTAIV.

Underground and Trilogy would be VC/SA only.

You know since V is out i was thinking this mod could actually less trouble. As having so much room plus game have alot of space. Maybe could fit every gta map and other maps from other R* games. Who knows what limits V has but if R* leaves it where they keep updating it for long time i think the space limits are way higher.

Rage and RW GTA games are 3D rendering based engines.

 

Why....

HD refers to the screen resolution (HD ready 1280x720p), (Full HD 1920x1080p 2k) or UHD (4096 x 2160p 4k) only!

 

I had a monitor 10 years ago that could match 1920x1080 before the term HD for the TV market was coined. That monitor cost as much as the computer I had!

 

Anyway....

I've played around with Resident Evil remake on the game cube and the same game that was ported to the PS3. The only change really was how the game screen aspect was changed from 4:5 /480p to 16:9 shown as 720p. it was disappointing that the game models or textures mostly upscaled was hardly touched in any other way which would make the PS4 version look pretty bad. I never bothered to check out the ps4 version.

 

When people on this forum say in the mod title for example Vice City HD?. this just makes them look silly as most people have monitors that can run as high or higher then HD and play default GTAIII, VC or SA pretty well. I've already released Vice City HQ where I removed all the LODs in place of the normal model .dffs

I agree with you 100%, HD, 4K or how ever this new formats are called, is stil 3D. I just tried to use definitions that are common, so HD era stands for RAGE games while 3D era stands for RW games.
