You can remove the paths from the /SOL/GTA_SOL.dat file.

 

Look for the path lines towards the bottom and #comment these out.

Good, Im glad to hear that the map limit has been hacked.,

Used SALA and got the same problem as fastman described before, the objects render out weirdly, like when outside of the 3000x3000 border the game wont render the land when looking at the land thats outside the boundairy.

I am trying to create a very, very large Island. Kinda like GTAV :)

Since i saw some ideas roaming around in other topics . i decided to create this wishlist thread . in an attempt to try and pool all of the ideas in one big organized topic . all are welcome to contribute and state their ideas . Discussions with no flaming . lets keep this one out of the flame galore

Well, its up to X-Seti to decide about such topics. He will add a wishlist thread if he wants to. All I can say is:

It depends on what X-Seti thinks of this.

How about doing a custom GTA SA map? My opinion is that the GTASA map isnt "correct", LV is above LS, and SF is next to LV. Doesnt feel right.

Or there could be usable mass-transit options to get around the areas of the map faster. I mean, like huge land masses between the SA, LC and VC area should make things realistic wouldnt it? But with mass transit under those masses, or above, it would be a bit more realistic. Enterable trams, trains, subways, and maybe airport flying. Something like GTAU had.

Bridges arent that realistic in my opinion, just add some landmasses, highways, bridges, and other stuff in between. Maybe some towns?

Bridges arent that realistic in my opinion, just add some landmasses, highways, bridges, and other stuff in between. Maybe some towns?

 

a good idea . it could be used as to be good looking with the surroundings of it . F.e : Desert . Forest etc .

Hi to all, i have this problem with Gta Sol 69.9.5.2 StrongAsBull

I don't want what happened i've installed the patch in the version clear of Gta Vice City as always, with others patch i don' have a problem, but with this version i don't want what is a problem,

Now for the last 4 days i've been out sick. I will be back sometime next week to continue on.

Cann do some vehicles and weapon related stuf, you can see som of my worck in a thread, I opened here. If you going to include some LCS/VCS and Manhunt 1/2 stuff, I have some knowledge and you canalso count on me.

seems like a win/win for both sides (the people who get motion sick from trails, and the ones who enjoy them)

It can already be toogled from the menu, but the option his hidden, but you can use trails.asi from Silent to make it reappear.

I'm able to help on SA version if I have time, X-Seti.

Once I'm done porting over OpenVice (open source VC mod) to my map, I'll be able to help. I tried to convert the GTA:VCS map, but my game crashed somehow on a clean stripped GTA:SA. Anyways, I might release my mod if I get permission to use the LC2SA mod. Or I'll convert it myself.

(Got permission to use the LA from fastman, and from OpenVice, it's open source)

I was looking into Trilogy on SA since Monday. Not getting very far.

 

One thing that is painfully clear is that is your using Kams scripts to convert anything you don't have a hope in hell because some of the models become unusable (buggy with any manner of issues down to alpha channel corruption). There isn't a way with the SA engine to debug down to what model is crashing the engine where with VC engine you can easily.

 

There needs to be a way to see what file (tinyhouse01.dff) is being loaded on the loading screen and a scroll object list in left top corner on the game screen itself.

 

This will save a lot of time when getting new content to work on SA.

 

We need a coder to make this possible.
