Ok, I will try and do a mission script for this, but one bug found already

I went to francis, ok, and i'm playing around in a pcj.. but then the game randomly loops back to something i did (OMG.. BACK TO THE PAST!!!) continusly, and I cannot stop it from happening.. I can't kill the process, I have to restart the computer.

Next release will include support for GTA Ultra aswell as new splash intro screens and menu changes (Single, Co-op missions, Online Player options)

HOW GODDAMN STUPID AM I!??!?! I should have used Barton's BWInstaller for the img part, so I can do the rest.. The installer will come soon people! No more having to install the mod manually! this installer will do it all for you.

I'll try and learn how to create missions. Right now, I'm trying something out with the player, and if the team agrees with the skin, it'll become the player skin (..? maybe) You'll see some screenshots of the now not anymore on gtagarage beta with the player.

Dude! Awesome, no more LOD problems! The mission coding can begin as soon a bridge is made, but I think I saw a bridge? I'll contact you on MSN. smile.gif

 

EDIT: @Nipa: Erm... that is Claude, wouldn't it be wiser to create a new player skin? Maybe even a new model?

 

@Mc-Kay: MSN doesn't work, crappy thing. Post here, or PM me, maybe we can talk on IRC about the mission coding.

 

EDIT2: What about the paths, I think we need somebody for that. I wouldn't know how to change them... And the storyline needs to be made. The SA version will have a storyline which continues the storyline from State of Liberty, was my idea. The VC version (LOS) in 2005 and the SA version in 2006. Would be nice... smile.gif

 

EDIT3: WHAT IS WRONG WITH MSN, IT WORKED, AND NOW IT'S f*ckED AGAIN! Oh well...

 

EDIT4 (Getting irritating?): Is this for map layout 1 or 2? 2 would be better in my opinion...

Mmm, yes. The model looks really cool, but a new one for a new story would be very cool!

This mod is not working constantly crashes with an unhandled exception. Downloaded the updated version only to find that it crashes on the screen before the menu now SAME error.

Well, then you have read the readme wrong, no offence though, I must admit the readme is quite hard, but if you read it carefully, it will work, it works only on a CLEAN COPY of Vice City. Try reinstalling your copy of Vice City and after that install the mod again. I hope this helps. smile.gif

 

EDIT: You can post bugs/glitches/incompletes on our forum too. biggrin.gif

Double Post, oh well... The storyline is now known, not completely off course, but we know the first missions and the intro scene. We will be coding for map layout 1, but if people like the second map layout better, we will use that.

 

Hereby I set a poll:

 

Which map layout do you like best?

1. Liberty City and Vice City next to each other, with allmost no distance in between, connected with a bridge.

2. Liberty City and Vice City quite a distance away from each other, connected with a bridge.

 

My personal opinion is 2, but that's me. biggrin.gif

2 sounds good LC up top and VC below.. MI on the right and waterfall island on the left, capital island somewhere in-between.

I have reread the readme very carefully there is nothing I did wrong. Well apart from using a different better img tool but that doesn't matter anyway and I did not have to do it in batches! Nope there must be something bad in there that does not like either my VC or something that got corrupted during uploading/downloading. By the way winrar archives split up are incredibly unreliable and slow to extract you'd be better off with one big file.

That's quite f*cked, erm... Well, I do not have a solution for this 'bug'... Mc-Kay? Anyone? I'm sorry mate, it works at most people, maybe you didn't use the custom gta-vc.exe? dontgetit.gif

The error you have giving me, indecates that you dont have enough

memory or you not running the game from the GTASA-LVC.exe

 

(I have a newer patch on the waym anyhow)

 

I need to know the stats of your machine...

 

IE: Ram, Cpu Speed, GFX Card Memory and Make, any custom drivers

you may have apart from the norm.

 

Windows XP(win2k) or 98? (Linux even for thoses who can run GTA

under WineX)

 

I would like to think the mod sould work on a Machines that has

512Megs of Ram and given the Map Size, Using a Cpu running at 2.0Ghz+,

with 128 Megs on a good GFX card.. (Nvidia 6800 or ATI X800)

 

I need a poll set up for this too..

 

What specs people have now days..? Teun?

Amiga4000T (Old case with new motherboard)

 

1Gig of Ram: 2x160Gig HDDs: Dual MC68060

It runs very smooth here, I'll try to give my specs:

 

AMD Sempron 2800+

Clockspeed (translated): 2.00 GHz, 512 MB

ATI Radeon 9250 (Has caused problems with SA before...)

 

Erm... I'm not good at giving specs... Any more you need to know? I have 80 GB HD, and 256 Video Memory.

 

 

EDIT: Off topic: I'd love to have a tiny, cheap PC with nice looks and install Linux Ubuntu on it and make it a server. But I'm not gonna spend money on that.

so your'll drawn if you dont swim fast enough smile.gif

 

Or maybe fix the water tables, makes another note on his todo list..

 

As for MI... We have asked them...

 

I could create a little progy that would change the cords.

 

Progy would be in extras for MI_Patch, upto the user really if they

would want MI in the game, I've seen better TCs, but this was

a users request and i've been doing alot of what others might want

to see..

 

for now we're keep on truckin.

Update on the mapping game area..

 

15000-X15000+ on the X axis

14000-X14000+ on the Y axis

6000-X6000+ on the Z axis..

 

This gives us more space smile.gif

I'm going to do version 2.. and drop version 1..

 

anyone here think otherwise?
