Custom lobbies?

Now, until recently I have been away from GTA for a long time, I recently purchased it for my ps4 and although I am enjoying the sh*t out of it again, I am disappointed with the lack of custom lobbies. Something that GAT IV even had.

Now after all this time, it seems like R* are happy with their AI so instead of ranting again about the super-cops etc etc I think it would be much better to give us the option to make and join custom lobbies.

Some options I would love to see are

- No Cops. This would be great, too often do cops ruin what can be a great moment. Aside from that i'd quite like to be able to kill the person who's trying to end my life in self defense and not get shafted the long dick of the law

- No explosive weapons (Sticky bombs can take the fun out of car fights, RPGs do similar to foot gunfights) Tanks & Jets would be included in this

- No passive mode + 'friendly' lobbies. Personally don't care for this but it would help plenty of people who want to explore in busy lobbies without being killed. Plus people who want to have active fights can go in to lobbies where there is no passive mode. Perhaps in these lobbies they'd be better off setting spawn locations further away from death

Of course that's just ones for now, potentially in the future you could have other lobbies (Probably private ones so there's not too many different lobbies which would possibly have a bad effect on the player numbers) I.E if they ever do a zombie mode, give us lobbies where you basically survive. No cops or anything, just players and aggressive, deadly NPCs. There's plenty of other modes I imagine you could all come up with.

So TL;DR, would you like to see custom lobbies? And what lobby rules would you set?

You've been around long enough OP.

Stop acting like my daughter when she doesn't get her way.

Also I can kill five players. Drive away for a minute, get the RP for ditching the fuzz and do it all over again.

Tell me more how the cops are overpowered.

Oh please no... GTA IV was awful in so many ways when it came to online, everyone is just seeing it in those rose colored glasses known as nostalgia.

f*ck that lobby system. Impossible to find games that you wanted with a group of normal people and even worse was toward the end of the game's life, where it literally became impossible to find a decent lobby with a decent amount of people in it.

It was good in very specific circumstances and with friends... But when you didn't have friends to play with? No thank you.

That's how I feel.

Enough of this sh*t, get back to school or some sh*t and stop trying to convince the forum you're old enough to have kids.

In that case, i'd at least like a no cop filter. Having 2 different lobby types wouldn't really have a negative impact on anything.

Oh, now don't get me wrong, I'm for some of the things like that, and GTA IV got some things right. Just not that God awful lobby system. You're triggering my gamer ptsd here, brother. :p

Yeah I mean I much prefer GTA V to IV, so i'm not trying to recreate that. I just think at the bare minimum we should be able to chose whether or not we want to be swarmed by pestering, infinite waves of police. Sometimes I am ok with it, it adds another dimension. But other times I really can't be bothered with f*cking cops who end up going after you because you defended yourself, because you walked past them or even because they crashed in to you on the wrong side of the road at 80mph because they were chasing another player.
