How the... How does this even happen?

SniperPrincess

Okay, whenever I'm in deathmatches or free mode, I get killed in, like, one shot. I don't understand this. No, it's not because I'm a bad player. I'm just so confused as to how someone is able to kill someone in one shot. How? I looked closely at this one guy's gun, and it was a MG. I use the MG, yet I can't do one shot kills. Why? I doubt they're modders, so don't bother.

Headshots are basically impossible during deathmatches. Not like you can set "Head auto-aim"

When your auto-aim is engaged, pull up (or down for invert) on your aim slightly to force your crosshairs onto their face. Follow this with shooting a slurry of bullets into said face, and BOOM! Headshot.

Like others said, it is lag.

When this happens on their screen they have shot you multiple times but to you it seems immediate. They probably aren't even aware that they killed you that fast. I can guarantee there are people you've killed that think the same thing "How did they kill me so fast!"

Based on your name, i'm inclined to think you're more of the latter than the former if you can't grasp the concept of aiming for the head.

lol, Auto-aim.

Impossible? Nah, just practice some more.

BTW, all it takes is a little nudge upwards with the right stick and it's harder to miss a headshot than it is to achieve one.

Edit: How are you a "SniperPrincess" if the concept of headshots in a deathmatch seem foreign to you?

Lag is annoying.

Had some f*cker the other day that I seemed to get double killed every time.

Id headshot him with the heavy sniper.

he was using the semi auto sniper.

He'd get several rounds off still and I'd die, then he'd finally drop dead from my shot after that.

once he finally started going after someone else in the area I got further away and sniped him a few more times. I could count to 3 between each shot and when he finally fell dead.

It was too perfect every time. He had to have been lagging purposefully...

Not quite sure as to why you mention my username, as it is irrelevant completely. Maybe it is because you have no other insults, hm? Go to sleep, children.

Wonder why you make a thread every time you have a single question....

Funny that you say that, because I've only made a few threads, and this is the only one of me asking a singular question. Again, completely irrelevant. If you had such an idiotic question, why not just send me a message instead of the terrible attempt to publicly humiliate me? (;

This, this sooo much. I almost always end up MVP on the winning team simply because headshots combined with tactical use of cover can overcome any advantage the enemy has in numbers or weapons - heck, the best kills (IMO) are one-shotting guys with a pistol and enjoy the rage.

Sure, this is much harder to pull off against some high levels (because they spam RPGs) or well-organized crews (because they have mics and can cover each other), but in normal randoms-only deathmatch there is no better way to win

The game is seriously out of sync' so if you've got a slower connection you'll be headshotted pretty easily.

Yeah, it could be lag, or experienced players who've got the hang of the aim-headshot thing.

Headshots are not too difficult if everyone is in sync', but they're not. I get upto a 1 second delay at times but you just have to adapt. Also, don't waste your time in deathmatches!

I consider myself a pretty good player as well but my connection sucks and I have the same problem. Many times I will die via headshot while in a roll. Its just the lag for me. Could possibly be the same for you.
