I'm on my last straw and about to return my version of GTA5 for XB

~25mpbs connection with zero lag on 360, never faced issues.

On Xbox One, I did everything; DMZ'd my box, checked connections, reduced bandwidth, etc. The problem is as soon as i get into a game and chat, I might last a good 10 seconds before it lags.

When I ping Google from my laptop to test the latency, it's ALWAYS <25ms with EVERYTHING else but on GTA Online with XBOX one it FLIES up to 1500ms+

It's not you or your console, the game is having connectivity issues across all platforms.

Though it's playable and mostly good on the 360 from my experience.

It's mostly common on PS4 and Xbox One, you'll just have to hope R* fixes this eventually.

I've had the same issues off and on changing with the patch releases. They fix it one patch and f*ck it up again in another one. They will never fix it, New gen version doesn't work right either, traffic doesn't spawn correctly, all old bugs plus more New ones still exist. They have their programming messed up and I doubt they will ever fix it. Haven't done much yet. For everything they fix it seems like they break 2 more, lol

The deal is this. Gtao worked better last summer on the ps3 and xbox than it does now on any console. Adding the xbone and ps4 contributed to the current connection issues. What will then happen when the pc version is added to the mix?

The problems are with R* and not at our end.

Currently for me on ps3 playing solo invite only is fine but any venture to open lobbies or playing with others in jobs and it all sloooows down or i sit in the clouds and have to completly exit the game to leave the clouds.
