This is a critical thinking game. I will describe a predicament from GTA V, and you must tell me what you would've done different than the characters did in the game. For example and the pilot question. Say you are Floyd and Trevor is molesting you everyday, how do you get rid of him? He's Trevor so obviously fighting him is out of the question, shooting him is impractical since you are Floyd and Floyd wouldn't use a gun. So, how do you get rid of Trevor? When I get an answer I like, I'll let that member know and than they can write out another situation from the game.

I thought the statement was referring to being in RockstarGames shoes and understanding why they made their choices and why they're so slow and haven't released heists yet.

 

Floyd is essentially that good guy, a saint. The good guy that can't get the girl, the guy that would catch a grenade for herrrrrr oh oh oh yeahhhh I'll go through all this pain.......what am I doing. It's easy for Floyd to be walked all over as he is so, so innocent and it is hard for such a good guy to stand up for them self as the good guy always tries to please others (Debra).

Hard to tell. It`s very hard to put in Floyd`s shoes since he`s insecured to the point he can`t standup for himself so he rather gets sexually abused by Trevor than actually do something to prevent this.

I know 2 people in my real life who are similar to Floyd and they can`t stand up for themselves. And that`s the biggest reason i despise Trevor. Because if you`re going to take an advantage over people who are too weak to stand up for themselves then you`re the biggest piece of sh*t who doesn`t deserve to exist.

And it gives me even more of a headache if i even think which idiot at R* got an idea of puting this in the game. And the sadest part is some people on this forum actually find this funny. Seeing Trevor doing this to Floyd (well it isn`t showned but clearly implied that`s what went on off the camera) totally breaks my illusion of him being a badass. A real badass like Niko for example would never do something like this to someone just because he could because that person happens to be weak. A real badass would stand up for such people instead of taking the advantage of their weak physicall or mental state.

 

Instead of this i`d rather see Trevor helping Floyd to gain his selfrespect and stand up for himself against Debra. Trevor even mentions one time to Wade that Floyd has low self easteem and that he needs to build him back up. Unfortunatelly that never happens.

I'm not too upset that this happened because this does happen in real life, especially in prison where the weaker inmates are constantly abused, some to the point where they become "sisters" inside. What I don't like is how the game covers it so nonchalantly just to make Trevor seem like the ultimate psychotic piece of dirt. Then again, there's not much GTA V does right.

Rockstar really crossed some lines in this game, all this in attempt to make this game unique and popular.

I don't mind them covering controversial issues as long as they are presented in a serious nature. There've been torture scenes in GTA before (GTA IV, TLaD) but they were handled much better. I completely agree with you about Floyd's victimization. Which is exactly why I presented the question of what would you do different than Floyd.

Sometimes when i watch Floyd, Ron and Wade getting treated like this by Trevor and do nothing to stand for themselves i get really madd. I think "just pick the gun and blow this guy`s head off already, you`ll be better off in jail than being a lifetime slave to this piece of sh*t". But when i think of it and i put myself in their shoes i realize it`s impossible.

Ron is the type of person who needs an authority from someone. Wade is mentally challenged enough to not finding this treating anything wrong at all, he thinks it`s normal.

And Floyd who i`d say is mentally the most stable one out of these 3 guys, on the other hand he`s so honest and upstanding citizen that he even regrets stolling a pencil at elementary school and who barelly grows enough courage to spell the word "f*ck" at the end. So i can`t imagine him using any kind of force even if his life would be on line. Of course he freaks out at the end when he realizes Debra was cheating on him with Bob and picks a knife but i doubt he`d have enough courage to use it.

 

So there`s no help for these 3 poor guys. 1 being mentally challenged, one being a bit of mazohist who needs a "leader" and one being an upsanding citizen who wouldn`t even think of doing anything wrong even in self-defense. And Trevor is taking the advantage of this just perfectly because he`s not dumb and he knows exactly how far can he go at some person. How come he doesn`t dare to act this way towards Franklin? Franklin even calls him a motherf*cker one time which is a word for which Trevor ussually freaks out and kills a whole block of people. Or When Franklin wants to fight with him after Trevor calls him a pussy in the Merryweather-port option heist? Because he knows Frank isn`t the guy who`d take any crap from him. The same goes for Chef, Trevor is always professionally nice to Chef.

So Trevor only acts this way towards Ron, Wade and Floyd..

So puting myself into their shoes it does make sense why they cope with the way Trevor treats them.

Trevor really is a sack of crap and a despicable person, and the bullying of those weaker than him is just one of the reasons. After 'The big one-subtle approach' I recall him exploding in rage at Lester for no reason. I mean really, threatening a physically handicapped man? Watch out guys, Trevor is such a badass.

 

The other GTA protagonists aren't angels by any means, none of them come close to Trevor's level. For example, Tommy and Niko have killed plenty of people in cold blood, but it was always for a reason (Being hired as a hit man, killing someone who was threatening their business or loved ones, etc). Trevor kills just because he got the wrong sandwich from Burger Shot.

 

 

Oh and btw: If I was a cop in V I would let Floyd, Wade or Ron kill Trevor. I would just give them a minor fine for not properly disposing of the body.

Trevor is indeed a bully but I don't think he's a coward. Trevor actually does become quite angry with Franklin when he trips and Franklin laughs at him in a cutscene. Franklin apologized right before it looked like Trevor would rip his head off. Ron, Wade, and Floyd are kept around for the sole purpose of serving Trevor. Whatever though, Trevor is complete scum.
