The Buzzard is now more durable against bullets?

I can't remember when was the last time smoke came out of my Buzzard afrer NPCs shot at it. During missions like Base Invaders and Pickup Sticks my Buzzard stays in excellent condition even after NPCs shoot at it quite a lot. Is it possible R* made it more durable after the Homing Rocket Launcher made its appearance?

Probably just chance.

 

If bullets go through the cockpit (hitting only the glass on entry and exit) then it makes sense the engine will still work, which is what I see happen most often when I fly Buzzards in missions.

 

Only takes a few bullets into the back area and it'll pick up smoking like a 13 yr old on a street corner.

i think i have to disagree... although i was firing at another person. heavy sniper had it smoking in 4-5 shots and fully exploded within 7-8 i would guess. maybe a couple more.

Nah, the cardboard Buzzard is as weak as usual when you shoot the back.

Even if the cockpit is more durable, the tail rotor is still its weakest spot....aim for that.
