NeonGTA
For a while after the appearance of trailers, it was claimed that there was less traffic than last gen(while viewing an illegal early build of the game from a stream) but now that the game has been out awhile, how do you feel about the traffic? At times, i feel that there is too much when you do have someplace you want to go, but that's a good thing, i also love the veriaty of cars spawning in traffic, at 85% complete, i see about 16-18 models spawn in single intersection, vs 4-5 on PS3/360 But intersections can get pretty backed up. almost to realistic levels of Los angeles at times. So here are some i took from share mode on PS4...so not the "Best" quality. PC is....going to be insane. DaRkL3AD3R
Christ, just when you think "we're getting close, we're getting close" then you see a real life photo and bam it all falls apart. Also, how long did you stand near those intersections to get that much traffic backed up? Because it sure as sh*t didn't happen in a few seconds. PhillBellic
I can't wait to see the PC's traffic. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/763047-next-gen-traffic-density-appreciation-thread/#findComment-1066862496 Share on other sites
NeonGTA
I can't wait to see the PC's traffic. PC = This. Joking aside. OR The time i had to wait? a couple seconds or so, for the first picture, like around 2-3 seconds on vinewood blvd, but has more parked cars on other roads. when i get the "true" PC version i will do a comparison with the PS4...but from what iv'e seen, it seems the same as the PS4 version. But as this is on pc, this may be on medium vehicle density and not high or extra high. but i doubt Rockstar would show anything less than high, Edited January 22, 2015 by NeonGTA CarlitoDorito 1 Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/763047-next-gen-traffic-density-appreciation-thread/#findComment-1066862516 Share on other sites
Gdog
on ps4 i've noticed that i often get stuck in traffic and need to wait it out or just drive up and mow down some peds. a lot more over taking and careful driving. it's not realistic but it's a nice improvement. beretta-gt88
It's better thats for sure it's so easy to find a car I want now on PS4 compared to PS3 where we have to drive around and hunt for the vehicle we want I'm very happy Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/763047-next-gen-traffic-density-appreciation-thread/#findComment-1066863295 Share on other sites

thc_404
I have a question: are the traffic lights a semi-realistic representation of RL? I mean, almost every light I hit is red, most of the time. helpplease
Vice City IMO had traffic density just right, a long with the map design which was essentially 2 big roads with streets veining out. GTA 4 had good levels of traffic but at night and specific times of the day its a ghost town.
