Radio turns off in GTA:O when exiting vehicle

Recommended Posts

I've noticed in GTA Online as soon as I get out of the car it turns off the music and plays the game soundtrack. As soon as you're back in the car, the radio is still turned off. Really irritating. Any way to solve this problem?

It's thanks to R* for removing the ability to leave your engine on when exiting your car, there is a way to get it to happen though which is to

1. Get out of the car

2. Shoot your weapon

3. Get in your car right away

4. Get out of the car right away (I believe it's once you hear the engine turn on)

If done correctly the engine will be left on along with your headlights (and neon if you have it) but also your radio should still be playing.

Not sure if it'll replace the ingame score music or not but worth a shot.

Yeah I've tried that (I just punch the air so as to not get wanted stars). It does work in free roam but for some reason not in missions, which forces the score down your throat. Was just curious if there was a way to stop that.

Problem?? It turns off the music because it was your car radio that was playing. Why would the car radio continue to play once you've switched off the engine and exited the vehicle??

Oh wow did you figure that one out all by yourself? You're a genius, really. Bravo.

So what the f*ck did you ask the question for?? You're the one calling it a 'problem' and thinking the music should still play once you've exited the vehicle. I thought it was my duty to explain to you how car radios work, as you clearly haven't grasp it by yourself.

Allow me to rephrase because I think while others got what I was asking, you didn't, and I had made my initial query unclear.

My issue is that when playing missions you exit the vehicle and the score starts right away. As soon as you get back in the vehicle, you have to turn the engine on, and the radio remains off. Usually the car "remembers" the radio station (in free mode at least) so the music starts.
