Vice City Rage Classic:

Added Esperanto, everything works correctly: the wheels, as well configured correctly. Set all specular maps and bumps. Requires fixed handling.

Vice City Rage Classic:

As promised I write a post about fixed headlights in cars, in fact now the lights are illuminated. The idea is a mistake Zmodeler2, but I found a solution. Here are screenshots of with some of cars that I corrected lights.V2dg.jpg

I could be wrong, but are you using IV's regular timecyc? At least I can look at the pictures without sunglasses, keep up the good work :beerhat:

No, I put timecycle version 2 of Quantum. Therefore, better looking. Thank you.

So if you're reconverting the vehicles are these totally bug-free?

Using zmodeler to make vehicles? It will never be %100 bug free

I joke, but seriously if you already know how to use 3dsmax then use Alexander Blade OFIO max script(s). :^:

No, I just will correct materials and cars all. And the models are good.

I know that in 3DS Max is best to do, but I'm so used to Zmodeler that time simply did not want to spend on studying doings cars in 3DS Max

Vice City Rage Online: (Classic & HD)

A long time ago there was no news on the net game, and it's time to talk a little bit about it again.

Vice City Rage Online will be available at both the Classic version VCR and the Episodes From Vice City (HD)

After half a year I again downloaded VCR Online and start working on it. Now I'm going to work on it more than one, it means that progress will be faster.

Work on the line is yet to Classic version.

The following screenshots of what it looks like at the moment (in the screenshots loading screens and footage from the game. (To September 2014. Last time I was doing it at the moment)

I think a couple of days we will be able to remove from it all HD models and put the original car of Vice City, well, stuff (as in the Classic version is all original)

Though online and still is in beta but the bugs and crashes of the game have not been found so far. Multiplayer is completely stable but requires work on the game modes and other things we are going to do in the near future.

Also, thanks to the episode TLAD not have to replace any files from a single game to spoil it for the sake of that network game was better. All distributed nicely and comfortably through folders (screenshot below as well)

See you later.

now the game will not be closed with an error when saving.

Tmaster.

Those screens of Vice City running under TLAD actually have that darker vibe of Miami that Driv3r had.

kinda works for a Late 80s/Early 90s Vice City (hint hint)

anyway I noticed you had some generic Vice City plates... why not use the ones that are in GTA V?

GTAV_VicePlate.png

so from what I understand, the HD version takes place in modern times?

yea, there were different plates found in GTA V apparently, some for Liberty City, some other random ones, and one for Vice City...

If my memory serves, the regular license plates in VC were the same as Florida plates, with the orange in the middle and green text. Here in America (You ought to know this :panic: ) , the only city with it's own license plate is Washington DC, and that's because it's not within a state.

So now you're using the Vice City map, but you ditched the timecycle. Okay. :p

Are you guys using the official GFWL multiplayer? I highly recommend to switch to CiizenIV, more flexibility, easier customizable and most importantly, will attract more people to actually play it.

Another tip, regarding the palm trees. I can tell you're using the gta_trees shader, which uses a texture file called stipple.wtd which adds this stippling effect along the edges of the alpha mask. This doesn't really work well on palm trees, not these at least. (Works better on oak, pine trees etc.)

I'd suggest using the gta_cutout(_fence) shader so you can get rid of it and have a more hard edge instead.

Loading screens look nice.

Consider using my palm tree mod, I think it will look better.

It's meant to be a higher quality version of the original palm tree, not some 'omg HD 10.000 polygon gta 5 next gen palm tree'

http://gtaforums.com/topic/767801-relvcsa-hq-palm-mod

I'm planning to convert it to GTAIV for use in IV:SA (beta 3) and VCR (any version), but feel free to convert them yourself, might take awhile before i get around to it.

No, the HD version of it in theory simply HD objects and textures. Just in time multiplayer and singleplayer game is different, in singleplayer 1986 year and 1988 year in multiplayer. You understand me?

also instead of it being the lost, why not do multiplayer clothing based off the biker gangs in Vice City?

The White Stallionz

The Vice City Bikers

Hell, I can even imagine the Sharks being a part of the ongoing gang war... Since they were having a war with Mitch Baker

You could do something like set up TLAD's Multiplayer mode so that You choose a gang when you first start and stick with that gang for as long as you have a character... would be good for RP's and So Forth

Here is a list of street gangs that could be featured in the mod, the list combines the 2-D and 3D eras...

  1. Cholos (From VCS)
  2. Sharks/Street Wannabes
  3. Vice City Bikers
  4. White Stallionz
  5. Brotherhood of Jah (To set up some backstory since they exist in 1997 in Vice City in GTA1)
  6. Vice City Triads (Mentioned in GTA:VC)
  7. Rednecks (Its Florida, Redneck Capital... Besides they were featured in VCS)
  8. Los Cabrones/Cubans (Featured in VC and VCS)
  9. Haitian Street Gang (Featured in VC)
  10. Costa Rican Gang (Seen in a Mission in VC)

and then for the bigger Mobs and Cartels... They wouldnt be featured on the streets since they use the street gangs to smuggle and sell drugs for them... but they would be featured in missions and so forth probably... Each one could be tied to a specific criminal trade (Drugs Trade, Weapon Trade, Counterfeit Trade, etc)...

  1. Vercetti Crime Family (Controls a Majority of Vice City's Drug Trade)
  2. Counterfeit Syndicate (Vercetti Fought them in the mission "Hit the Courier". Killing mostly Female Members)
  3. Cortez Crew (Mainly seen in GTA VC led by Colonel Cortez)
  4. Mexican Arms Dealers (Featured in VC)
  5. Vice City Triads (While the Triads are a Street gang, triads in general tend to function through a Tong. which is a larger organization)

just some Ideas I was throwing around in my head

That Johnny model better only be for video purposes and not end up in this mods files without permission from its author or a ban hammer is getting put down.

yeah

Time model, that is, then in the final version of Vice City Online will be another model of the protagonist
