The thing I like most about GTA 3, Vice City, 4, TLAD, and TBOGT is that those GTA games seem to appeal most to mobster fans whereas GTA San Andreas and 5 seem to appeal more to street gang fans. Sure, they still have mobsters in them as all of them do, but street gangs seem to be those two GTA games' main focus. I personally like the other GTA games I listed better than San Andreas and 5 based on my personal tastes, but I 100% respect your opinion if you disagree. I still like GTA San Andreas and 5. I just think they could be better games. That's all.

III and Vice City. Grew up with them. III holds dear because it was the game that changed from ariel view and onward. Loved the mob family storyline. Vice City for storyline too.

Least favorite is actually 5. It just seemed very short and lacked things to do than other games aside from the air field and a few side missions. The missions were more fun than gameplay. First person is a great addition, and I don't care for modding and online.

2. GTA balled of gay tony

3. GTA V

4. GTA VCS

5. GTA LCS

GTAbogt brought back the fun in GTA for me. And VCS on the list, because it has empire feature and GTA V single player, is great but it a just online community that bad. And LCS is on here because of it GTA 3 but better. And you know SA is the baby. Lol

Note:I'm not mentioning the one's I didn't play.

1:GTA SA:(99/100)Best game I've played in my life.also the most flawless along RDR.The journey CJ took from LS to county to SF to desert to LV to LS along with all the things he went through was a trip of dreams. The best gameplay out of any GTA period. Best cheats.everything is top notch.

2)GTA V:(96/100)this brought back the fun from SA and felt like a gta again.there were some flaws like lack of interiors and an unsatisfying Finale but despite many hate it i thought the multiple character aspect was needed because GTA missions were starting to get repetitive. It broke the A to B back to A structure. I wish they remodeled SF and LV but the game was still the most expensive ever so...

3)GTA VC:(95/100):Tommy was the most boss type protagonist in the series along with trevor. The type of guy who can't be bothered to work for idiots and I loved it. The soundtrack and atmosphere is the best outta any GTA.

4)GTA:TBOGT(95/100):God i was losing hope in the franchise then this came and saved me. Never played IV after story mode because this came out. Brought some fun things to do beside main missions in freemode which i was missing from IV.

5)GTA IV:(94/100):A good game in terms of being realistic. Not a good GTA. physics are the best out of any GTA. driving physics on the other hand... They were trying to be realistic but failed miserably. Cars felt like butter on 4 wheels and no planes and parachutes like wtf?

6)GTA III(93/100):HARDEST EVER.

I may have appreciated it more if I had played it before VC. The real father of what we have today both in GTA and other open-world games.

7)GTA:TLAD(90/100):Nothing against the game. It's just personal. I HATE BIKERS IN BOTH REAL LIFE AND GAMES AND YES. I ENJOYED DESTROYING THEM WITH TREVOR.

Vice City. Not only my first but my favourite Grand Theft Auto of all time. It has the best city, best protagonist, great story and unforgettable and catchy music.

Favourite: the amazing SA with its diverse landscape, great storyline that sucks you in and well-written characters. Also III for the great atmosphere of a living breathing city at the turn of the century.

Least favourite: IV which wasn't a step back, but step to the very beginning of the GTA concept. Poorly designed, poorly written, boring set of missions and lame map. Also VC, because it has huge useless beach, the second island is tiny and Tommy is a psychopath. I thoroughly enjoyed it back in the day though.

I haven't played most of the others, just the main titles.

Isn't it weird that the most loved ones are the most disliked ones as well?

Kudos to R* for variety.

That's a tough one for me, I've enjoyed most of them & I like them for different reasons.

I'd say my favorite is IV, followed by a tie between III & SA.

My least favorites are VC & VCS. VC nailed the story & the 80s atmosphere, especially with the music selection. But the map & graphics were a step down from III. VCS was even worse.

Favourite: Vice City. Everything from the atmosphere down to the music was perfection.

Least: Honestly feel dirty giving any GTA this honor, I've enjoyed them all in different ways. I don't remember the 2D games enough to judge them now, so I'll pick III. Still love the f*ck out of that game though.

I've played all major Grand Theft Autos, besides 1 and 2. I, above all, enjoyed San Andreas the most. It blew my mind in a way that GTA 5 has not. It was far ahead of its time. The scale is still quite impressive today, and is by far the most playable of all the GTA III era games, not to mention the replayability value of the game. It was like a big, open playground, and still is.

1.Gta Vice City

2.GTA Sanandreas

3.Every Other GTA game

Gta VC's storyline and voice acting is the best till this time. Tommy Vercetti is the Best video game character I've ever encountered. His charisma and swagger gives soul to the game unlike its successors and predecessors. Vice City is a city I can travel without even looking at the map, therefore the city is pretty memorable too. GTA SA and 5 might top it in many gameplay elements, and GTA IV with the realistic story is pretty good too. But GTA VC is the best GTA game in my opinion.

Edit: The Soundtrack is the best in the series too.

My favorite would definitely have to be SA. Nothing beats that game, I have the most memories with it. There's so much stuff you can do in that game, and the mods for it are like the cherry on top of the sundae. The worst imo is GTA IV by a long shot. Even years ago when I used to play it on the Xbox 360 I thought it was garbage. I tried playing it recently on the pc but got so bored I quit playing after like the 4th or 5th mission

My favorite game is GTA IV. I love the story line, characters, Niko, the driving, gameplay and atmosphere... However, GTA Advance is the worst, IMO because the game is so ugly and it is just weird...

Hmm... i'd say San Andreas is my favorite. The whole 90s atmosphere and the huge amount of content there is to do, makes it my favorite GTA title. The worst is probably GTA 1, and hey, this is coming from someone who's a huge fan of the second game. I absolutely love GTA 2, partly because it was my first video game ever, but also because of its fun, simple gameplay and its eery, quiet semi sci-fi atmosphere. GTA 1 on the other hand is loud, ugly and unattractive in most aspects.

So yeah, SA is my favorite

GTA 1 my least fav.

My favorite GTA version is Vice City. It is game of my childhood. i used to provide some codes into the game and have a lot of fun during this. I waste all my time and have problem in university. But due to this essay for me  i combine my game time and life goals.  I hope that developers improve some bugs in this game. I never play mission only free space. It is nice to me. Thanks for attention and save your time.

GTA: San Andreas - As my favourite.

GTA IV - As my least.

Though it is hard. The only real reason GTA IV gets the hit is because I just didn't play this one upon release and long after it had it's day. Fantastic game, but after GTA V's story, it was hard to adjust to the graphics and driving, a minor complaint overall though. Going back to the stories and Chinatown wars was easier or just different (Chinatown Wars).

San Andreas is head and shoulders top though, not a second thought on it too. Loved the voice cast, the period, story,  and music. Loved the freedom to really roleplay and interact with gyms and clothing and such, So much in such a small game compared to todays detail.

I don't have a least favorite GTA, because I enjoyed all of them,so just because it's the last place doesn't mean I don't like the game. Here goes my list:

1-  GTA IV

2 - GTA V

3 - GTA San Andreas

4 - GTA Vice City Stories

5 - GTA IV TLAD

6 - GTA Vice City

7 - GTA Liberty City Stories

8 - GTA IV TBOGT

9 - GTA 3

Currently playing Chinatown Wars to distract my head until RDR2 gets delivered, since the delivery service f*cked up. I'm enjoying very much so my list may change later on.

Have yet to play the 2D era games and Advance.

1 - GTA San Andreas

2 - GTA Vice City

3 - GTA IV between GTA Vice City Stories

4 - GTA 3

5 - GTA Liberty City stories

GTA Stories Liberty City: is a game that I do not enjoy doing the missions, especially those of JD O'Toole the worst antagonist of all the games of the 3D era, Massimo Torini. It has some of the best final missions, but the antagonist is the worst I saw is like a version of Sonny Forelli but 100 times worse. It does not have a great appearance, it does not put pressure on the player or on Salvatore himself to weaken the Sicilian mafia. After the end there are no entertaining side quests, there is not much to do after finishing the game, as it does well.

GTA San Andreas: I do not have much to comment, it was my first GTA. I played it for the first time on my PS2 (Fun fact: it was the first game that came with that PS2) in 2007-2008 (4-5 years), for me Tenpenny is one of the best antagonists in the saga to not say the best . Their appearances are unpleasant although in the middle of the game we get rid of a little (while we help the garage and Toreno).

- One of the best soundtracks that combines with all environments, as it happens with the K-ROSE field, San Fierro and the whole House of Chicago that burst it in the 90s along with the madchester sound in SF-UR, the atmosphere hippie that surrounds San Fierro in García (K-JAH West), the Funk of the bands of the late 70's and early 80's (Bounce Fm) and the hip hop of the mid-late 80's and early 90's with Radio Los Santos and Playback fm. The desert with my favorite the radio station K-DST, all the elegance of Funk, Soul and the master sounds of etc. 98.3, partially the alternative music of the years 89-92 in Radio X, and the different sounds commonly heard in Las Venturas CSR.

GTA San Andreas was a before and an after, maybe fanaticism made this game a little frowned upon for the last 4-3 years, but let's not forget it was the GTA V at the time you had your PS2 (I've said several times) and it is a game that nobody can ignore. GTA Liberty City has interesting potential and missions, but what little it offered was forgotten in the minds of many.

- Everything was my analysis from the best to the worst I wanted to do a long time ago. I did not mention the first GTA and GTA Advance because GTA Advance was a waste and Rockstar did not realize that making a game like the one before was not good.

1. Vice City is easily my favourite GTA. The atmosphere, the plot!

2. I'm not too fond of street gang culture of SA, but that game was top-notch as well. A tie with GTA V, which is a top-notch game as well, despite the flaws of Online and a kind of 'weak' plot (but again, was the plot of SA that strong to begin with?).

3. Vice City Stories. The atmosphere strikes back and the radio is even better than in the original VC.

4. GTA IV. It's a city to explore, to get lost in. However, it's also kind of bleak and too 'limited' after SA. Lots of 'vertical' depth, but not much of 'horizontal' one.

5. GTA III. Still a very good game, not its fault that the other ones are better.

6. GTA 1. Kind of a Stockholm Syndrome to me. This game made me swear oh so many times. Still I've beaten it twice and will probably do the third someday.

7. London 1969. Easier than GTA1, but with only one city. I enjoyed the soundtrack and the unique (for the series) British atmosphere.

8 - x. Everything else (I didn't play enough of those games to judge).

x+1. London 1961. Seriously, did anyone even test this? Especially the time limits.
