No, you wouldn't. You'd drive it a day or three, then stick it in a garage because "rare" only so you could be pissed off when the next year's sale of it went online.

 

I sat on mine as 1 of 10 max cars for quite some time, so I'm mildly miffed that its possible one of my special snowflakes will melt. Just like when the Asea's uniqueness was taken away. Now it's neither fun to take out because unique and is basically forgotten about due to completely uninteresting characteristics.

 

They're sh*tty cars, you don't really want them. You just want them because you can't. That's what makes those who have them keep them away. If they were regular buy all year no one would give a sh*t about them.

 

Actually, you don't know me. When I buy my cars, bikes, boats, merry weather vehicles. I drive them every day because I love them to death. So no I wouldn't just drive it for a day or 3 is because each thing I buy I cherish and treat them like family. I never owned a Roosevelt and if they did bring it back in a few weeks than I will buy it and treat it like my family car. I would ride it every day. You can say they are sh*tty cars but not everyone feels the same way about them like you do. And if you want to go that line saying I want them because I can't is just a lie. Like I said you don't know me in the game on why I want stuff. Not everyone is like you when it comes to these kind of cars.

I don't think they are "sh*tty cars", I love the Classics on GTA V in fact they are my favourite class in the game. So when the Roosevelt was released, I couldn't wait to get one. It was like a dream come true. Such a nice looking car and so good to drive too. Just because you don't like the cars doesn't mean other people are going to hate them too. I bet if I looked in your garages, I'd easily find a good chuck of your cars horrible.

I'm not all that bothered about exclusivity but I'm all for variety. It'd be nice to see public servers full of other, varied vehicles rather than 20 chrome Zentornos with dollar rims. Meh, even with the choices given, people still do this so it's probably a mute point to make anyway.

I want the Roosevelt available again so this time if I lose it there'll be a way to get it back. When R* first released the Roosevelt you had no way of buying it again after the event was over. The Sovereign bike from Independence DLC on the other hand can be bought again (it's still up on the store for me) provided you bought it once during the event. I hope they do that for the Roosevelt this time around. I lost my Roosevelt once before to a glitch and had to glitch one back in my garage because all rockstar would do is give me money to replace it.

I've had the Roosevelt for a year now (love that thing), and I don't really have a reason to but it again. I'd rather have something else to drop 700K on.

I would guess that rockstar will have the same exact dlc for last gen, maybe a bit different. For current gen, I would think they might have the same dlc as well, just more dlc items we can buy. Maybe even a new car

I do believe this would be a good idea since there has been a few people mentioning about losing the car due to a glitch. It should be like the Sovereign bike, available whenever once you have bought it once during the event.

I can't help but be amused at people's jimmies getting rustled if anyone so much as hints at a Roosevelt re-release. When you get right down to it, it's just a virtual car that doesn't exist in real life. I remember the days when people got pissed at R* when they made the Tailgater, Asea, and Rat Loader purchasable -- and those vehicles were free and didn't have time limits. Does it really bother you that much?

 

I wonder if a lot of these Roosevelt owners exhibit the special snowflake attitude towards real life limited items. Was there a time where you got annoyed due to a limited item re-release in real life?

I'm going to say it again:

Best idea is to re-release the old stuff (...because it's already in the game, just locked, currently. No work needed on R*'s part), and throw in some new stuff. A new weapon, a new vehicle, and some more new clothes and stuff.

That way, people who lost progress/couldn't afford it last time/created a new character/weren't able to get online/started on Xbone/PS4 can have a second (or first!) chance to grab all the cool items, while people who got it last year get something new as well. Nobody loses, everyone wins.

And the same goes for next year, too - if only because new PC players will miss out this year as well...

However I would like to see it be added again to see the amount of butthurt from some of the self-entitled morons on these boards. Those on PS4 and Xbox One never got a chance to get it before, it's only fair they get the chance now.

I'm tempted to think they will do this - if you look at the difference between how the Independence Day and Valentine's Day specials were handled, it looks like they learned from some of the problems from the February DLC. For example, the Independence Day DLC was out for a lot longer, and thus more people had time to save up enough to get things like the (the!) Liberator - in contrast, a lot of people who wanted the Roosevelt missed out, because they didn't have $700k+ on them at the time, and couldn't quickly earn that kind of money in order to afford it.

That's actually a good point. They should have an option when buying it to have it either with props (the guns) or without the props. Same goes for hardtop/soft top vehicles.
