Why is the Assault SMG's flashlight on the left side?

I am much more concerned about the enumerable number of Bugs that exist in GTA Online and not the location of a Flashlight on a Gun I Unlocked around 14 months ago and never use...

in most CQB situation, you put your gun near your body when you move, but for this one, you put it on the left hand side as you carry a bigger weapon like short gun or something, so the flash light needs to be mount on the left to avoid clashing with your other body mounted gear and make noise.
