Walk outside your Apartment Room?

I created this thread because I wanted to talk about the possibility to walk outside your apartment room, and go through hallways and the lobby area on the first floor. Wouldn't that be cool to have an interior on the first floor, then take an elevator to your room?

i have owned a apartment since december 2013, i visited my apartment for the first time back in december 2014 when i read that they added a christmas tree to the apartments.

Edit: also we need to be able to slide down the railing, that's a must.

For the next gen consoles and PC, where the platforms can sling a lot more polygons, I would like to see some stylish and functional interiors like this. Rockstar has already shown that they can design fine looking interiors, and I would like to see more of them.

 

I would be fun to have shootouts in the lobby, and the only actual safe area is your apartment. In fact, maybe there could be a setting where your apartment is either safe or not safe.

It'd be a cool idea OP and to improve on it, it could just be something optional.

 

So in other words, if you wanted to keep things the way they are now, then there would be an option to skip everything and just go straight inside your apartment like you do now.

Would like this, it'd make the buildings feel more alive. Best case scenario would be for the lobby to be accessible to all and then having the entrance thing that teleorts you at the lift.

I dont really spend much time in my apartment so it wouldnt be a biggie either way. If it werent for the possibilty of needing one for hiests i would just keep garages.

Theres not that many as it stands; but aye, I can't think of any reason as to why they are locked, other than R* being anti-fun.
