Sports Minigames?

Its cool and all having Tennis and Golf, but wouldnt it be cool if their was a game mode like Football or Basketball?

R* has Basketbal courts already in the game, the idea is that their can be a tournament were your clan members play like 6 games and they go into a championship. You'll win like a special shirt or $50000 in the end of the season. Good idea or go play Madden or 2k?

we have a small ballpark, soccer field, skate parks, minigames could be made with them.

Though I do totally agree, I'd only like to see it if it had a different setup than the activities now.....meaning; quitting shouldn't be made as easy. I simply don't start up any of the activities anymore because everyone quits anyway.

I agree but the only thing is with all the connection issues this game has, I don't know what they can do to stop people from leaving. Anything would seem unfair because of the connection issues.

In my case with Darts and Tennis, they leave when they are losing.

Basketball would be choice. Big golfings head here, just wish i could drink and get drunk during golf would be fun. Also a mini golf course in desert somewhere. Should get a golf golve to wear if you get a hole in one. Golf tourney with $50000 buy in would be sick.

air hockey

card games, 21, black jack etc

online triathlon

lets go bowling cousin

football (soccer) penalty kick game, kicker vs goalie

 

not asking for full sports games to be added in but mini games would be awesome

Yh bro theres actually a soccer field in this game you probably know about thats located at the university. Basketball is definitely a must being that it was in san andreas.

 

Pool was one of my favorite mini games in both SA & IV and is 1000x better then lame ass yoga or darts. Bowling in game or irl is one of my favorite things to do and i pretty sure theres an alley somewhere in this game.

 

Yeah i would like to be able to buy replica jerseys from every sport and other things like helmets, masks, fan gear, and etc would be nice clothing options.

Hmmm. I'm not sure but I think a sport like basketball or soccer are a little more popular than tennis and darts. Derp. People play the game for FUN. There's barely anything to do online that you haven't done a million times. Of course if they add new activities of popular sports people will play

Basketball seems like it should be fairly easy to create seeing how there's courts already in the game. I know, as someone who just plays the game and knows nothing about actually creating it, it's "easy for me to say." I'm pretty sure basketball was already in San Andreas though and though and that game is how old? Either way, one game that should be really easy to add would be track. There's already a track in the game. You already have running capabilities. Why not have a track mini game. Do something with relay races and what not. I'd certainly participate. But to Zack23's point, R* probably isn't going to bother seeing how a the current games go ignored. I for one LOVE playing Tennis but I can never get an opponent and when I do, they end up quitting once they start losing.

Even tho everyone is right about activities being mostly dead and how flawed they are it's really upsetting basketball isht in this now that I think about it, come on it probably would've been easier to implement than tennis and golf it's annoying cause others are right people do not play GTA to play sports competitively so R* probably won't care enough about adding any extra sport activities for a long time so they're gonna be as they are now for a while

I just want bowling back. All sports should let you play against NPCs too, that way you can still play them when morons quit out all the time.

I don't think the majority of players are into sports at all. Oftentimes, when I mention my favorite sports teams, no one knows what I'm talking about.

While I think Football and Bball mini games would be fun, there are so many animations and mechanics to make those games work properly and not be a half-a$$ed game I'm not sure R* would think the effort is worth it sadly. The Bball in SA while fun for a bit was very limited, stiff, and clunky with CJ not really being able to do more but shoot and dunk, with golf and tennis it's nothing more that a few thumbstick movements and pressing a few buttons. If R* could make well rounded smooth additional sports mini games like others mentioned I'd definitely play them a lot, and I'm sure others would too.
