Honor Duel or F u Bro! I Rule GTA:O!

I would like to know what the majority of ya'll will do if called out on a 1v1 AR only duel.

 

The reason I ask is because I called someone out thinking he'd be straight and meet me at designated location and honor the rule set given. I went to go stock up on everything just in case he pulled some sh*t. Just as I was in a store stocking he pulls up in a cool guy supercar and does exactly what I thought he'd do. I suicided/passive mode so I can get back on my bike and lure him to spot when he pulls a Homing RL out and gets me. I lag out and immediately try to join back in lobby to go after him but he left also. Probably lagged out too. Possibly Block Communication? I couldn't find him in the RPL.

 

I ain't complaining, I just want to know what the majority of everyone would do.

If above story will be the latter of everyone's decision, I'll just say F it and do the same thing.

It's rare you'll find someone that's willing to do a straight up duel. I had this pos one time try calling me out saying "sit down bitch" after every kill he got on me. And the funny thing each time he was yelling at me to sit down he'd add 2 or 3 more kills to his count and none to mine when I killed him.

 

I called him out on it and he didn't knowledge it. So I told him let me sell a car and get some ammo and I'd own his ass. Of course he wouldn't let me do that. He even had like 8 of his buddies come after me. And each and every time he'd kill me he'd call me garbage.

 

I said to him well if I had some many of my buddies in a lobby you'd get owned too. No one can be straight up these days and I can't stand it.

Ran into a guy using the passive mode invincibility glitch the other day. He eventually died and I spawn killed him to death and I personally left the lobby. No need to stay and fight with someone who's gonna fight dirty.

 

I don't really play with randoms. I always have a friend or two in the same lobby, and we stick together. Always.

I don't know if you know but you can kill them assholes with explosives.

This isnt RDR. There are no duels. This is GTA Online, endless, kill anything, kill everything, any way possible. There is no "code". Nobody is going to honor a request to go 1 on 1. If you do the actual 1v1 deathmatch, be prepared to be greeted with a tank.

 

This is GTA, and 95% of its player base is immature, blood thirsty, idiots.

 

There are no rules.

Oh I'm the first to know that there are dirty players out there. But so far I've dueled 2x and both players were really cool about it. I won the first one but lost the second 10:15. I'm very curious as to what everyone else is going to choose.

Not being funny but I don't know how you stayed alive as long as you did there. I don't think the guy you were fighting was much of a threat.

Quite a few times that I made a deal with some stranger to fight with a limited set of weapons, and never did anyone cheat.

Got bored with most real fast, but had a few nice ones too:

 

A sniper battle with 2 equally good players, where I could use the heavy and they just had the normal sniper. Turned out to be quite a fair match.

 

And had a joust battle with one guy, where we'd go head to head on our bikes with just our heavy pistols out....can recommend this one!

 

 

Of course had some fun with friends during the holidays with snowball fights.

I ignore 1v1 requests. I'm not a sh*t talker and I rarely kill another player more than once (on the offense, that is) unless it's payback for griefing, in which case I use any and all methods to kill them.

 

I have nothing to prove, some people sit at home all day playing GTA, I work for a living so if some kid happens to be able to shoot me better, I don't give a f*ck.

I'm not surprised that a lot would say "This is GTA! Screw rules.." but I would have thought a lot more would accept 1v1 AR. This must just be a TDMer thing because I get a LOT of "1v1 me bro AR only!" messages after I wreck them on the streetbike with AP.

 

I just recently started accepting 1v1s but doubt I'll continue. I have more fun doing my streetbike thing anyway lol. Good to hear a lot of feedback on both sides though. Only 1 guy voted the 3rd option lol. I'll make the votes open view later on.

What would I do? Ignore or screw you before you even saw me coming.

 

It is your custom rule btw, not R*'s. Sorry, but I wouldn't care about player's personal rule.

Never dueled with guns but have had a few people in the middle of a firefight text me or ask over the mic to throw hands instead of using guns and I've always complied. Done that about ten times and only once have I ran into a douce who will pill out a shotgun while I'm trying to box. I'm always up for some good old fashion fisticuffs.

 

I would like to 1v1 someone using only the musket thought. Me and ghe crew have had done good musket wars but I have yet to find a random with balls big enough to put down their automatic weapons and just use the musket. Hopefully one day I'll find somebody.

Not being funny but I don't know how you stayed alive as long as you did there. I don't think the guy you were fighting was much of a threat.

 

I don't wanna brag but I'm pretty good with the sniper rifle.
