I just transferred my character that was on my XBOX 360 to my XBOX ONE and I want to know if I can transfer it again PC and still be able to play that character on both my XBOX ONE and my PC.

Nope. I don't think you can transfer it anymore. You can still play on 360 though.

They announced recently you can transfer your character twice.

So yes, you can go from 360->XBO->PC.

I'll see if I can find the source.

EDIT: Found it.

Not to worry, you will be able to transfer your Online characters and progress from any of the four consoles (PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 or Xbox One) to the PC platform. To be clear, if you transfer or have already transferred your progress from PS3 or Xbox 360 to either PS4 or Xbox One, then you will still be able to do another transfer again from PS4 or Xbox One to PC. We have updated the detailed transfer information article at Rockstar Support to account for this.

  • 1 year later...

Let's say if my parents say I can't get a ps4 now because they don't want me to get addicted to it and they want me to focus on basketball but they will let me get one one day.. And I want to transfer my account from my PS3 to my brother's ps4 and later I get a ps4. Can I transfer it from a ps4 to another ps4?

AFAIK, the rule of thumb is:

  1. You can transfer once and
  2. Transfers may be done only from an older platform family to a more modern platform family

Thus, since PS4 == PS4, you cannot do that, and further, you transferred from PS3 to PS4, thus you cannot transfer again. Further note that progression will not sync afterwards. So for example, transferring progress from a character who is level 120 on PS3, to PS4, and if you play on PS4 and get up to 150 or something, such changes will not propagate back to your PS3 character, which will still be level 120. You can, however, play on all any character-- transferring does not delete your old character data.

Edit: This is AFAIK. Someone may feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

  • 5 months later...

I know I'm real late to the party but I have a similar question. I'm a returning player from ps3 to ps4 and already transferred my character... I stopped playing the ps4 and went back to ps3 gta for a bit and I want to go back onto ps4 soon. In this time frame I have leveled up from 140 to 170 or something completed all the hiests got A TON more money. Can I transfer my "updated" ps3 stats to ps4 again??? Thank you!
