Should the Hunter require two pilots?

As we know R* has hinted that The Hunter might be put into the game and as we aren't 100% sure if it will be in free roam or not.

If you look at the Hunter picture on GTA Wiki you can see it looks like their are two seats but only requires one pilot.

The Hunter IS based off the AH-64 Apache Helo

But just like the Hunter real life counterpart the Apache should the hunter be dual piloted which means two players will be required to fly it one as the pilot and one as the gunner?

I'm not saying it will be required, I'm asking if it should be required?

The way it would work is the back seat pilot will fly the helo while the front seat pilot will be the gunner it would work the same way as the passenger can take the control and open the camera to fire rockets from the Buzzard, Except in the hunter the only person who can control the guns/rockets will be the gunner.

Hunter/Appache/Hind Comparison

This is a picture of a Hind.

Now compare that picture to The Hunter it looks nothing alike and in case you don't see any similarities between The Hunter & The Apache i have circled everything they have in common.

Now compare that to the picture of the Hunter

I definitely wouldn't want it to be a requirement but since every other chopper has something optional for the co-pilot to do it would make sense for the Hunter to work the same way. It'd be awesome to be able to aim and fire the nose cannon independently as the co-pilot/gunner.

Maybe if the Pilot gets control of mini-guns, while the Co-pilot gets control of dumb-fire missiles.

In my ideal situation, you need to be in the Co-pilot seat if you want to fire rockets(meaning that you also need a Pilot to fly the chopper), and only the Co-pilot gets access to them. That would be intriguing.

Na, I don't think it would require two pilots to fly it. Now should it require two to use all the features, yes. I think rockstar needs to start balancing the game out a bit for the players that don't really use military vehicles. I think it's bs that a pilot can be airborn for hours on ends killing other players and nothing can happen to them.

No requirements, however the more teamwork the better.

2 pilots = more teamwork = better sense of accomplishment.

No, it shouldn't. There is no way I can trust someone to not blow us up with the rockets, (already happens a lot in the Buzzard) actually hit people, or let alone fly without smashing us into something.

It would be cool though if you could hit X/Square to change it to that though, and also change between where you control the machine gun and your passenger controls rockets, or you get full control.

It should be like the buzzard. The passenger can control the machine gun.

No. Like somebody else said I don't trust anyone in my helicopters but me. Not to mention you couldn't even use the Hunter in SP.

CrysisAverted

Absolutely yes, One person to fly the chopper and another to give you airhead

I hope the pilot controls the rockets (either with or without lock-on) and the 2nd seat could be used for a gun man to use the turret on the front (minigun like or maybe explosive rounds at a lowered RoF (compared to the Lazer jet)

GRINCH ASS BITCH

Require, no. Accommodate? Hell yeah. I'd be pissed if the copilot didn't have control of the cannon.

The Hunter in GTA V is based off a Hind and the second seat is not for a 2nd pilot but for a gunner.

No it is not ffs, I doubt this is the Hunter when there is also an Apache/Comanche hybrid model out there which resembles the old Hunter.

Unknown of what the Hind based choppers named, but the co-pilot (if added) can control the chin-mounted gun for more accurate shots.

first tho its not an apache so get that right

and i think it should be operatable by 1 player but to operate the cannon should take a 2nd player

If the pilot gets sniped out, can the gunner take over from his position? Or does he just crash with the bird?

Then you treat it like Battle Field, pilot can only use rockets.

Having the hunter require two pilots is an incredibly stupid idea there is NO justifiable reason for such a requirement.. not then a tank which should require three people at minimum to drive and shoot can be operated by one man.

It should be just like IRL: pilot controls heli and rockets. Gunner controls machine gun and missiles.

Yeah, two people. One to drive it and one to crash it...i wouldn't like it. People would be trolling each other a lot...

I hope it wouldn't be a required two-person machine. I like flying alone sometimes.

The option to have another player in control of the weapons is kinda cool. I'd love to see that with Lazer too.
