Ballistics Test

Does anyone have metrics on a ballistics test for comparison on Carbines/Assult Riffles?

 

Something that was done well to compares the ability of each firearm in a controlled environment?

 

Thus far I prefer the M4 Carbine, but have heard argument that Special Carbine and BullPup Riffle w/ Supressor are better. Some also prefer Advanced.

 

Is there actually a significant difference in these weapons?

I was always taught that suppressed guns had less power, then one of my friends walked in front of me when I was firing my suppressed combat pistol at NPCs for fun & he died with one stray shot!

Yeah I use the special carbine it seems the easiest to use although for long range I will change it for the AK47 just because it seems better and is cheaper on ammo.

I don't have any hard numbers but my anecdotal opinion based on my own experience (based entirely on a Free Aim setting) and what I see others using is that the AK is the only assault rifle with stats low enough to keep it out of the running, with all the rest the stats are so close overall that its really just a matter of personal preference. One gun edges out the others in raw damage, accuracy, ROF etc. and you just pick the one that suits you best. I personally like the Advanced Rifle but really they're all so close that it comes down to the skill of the user.

According to his testing the overall strongest was the Carbine M4, but the BullPup Riffle and Assault Riffle actually achieved increase in damage when a supressor was equipped!

 

Any thoughts on his metrics of methods? I would have liked to also see a similar sample when using center mass against players.

i prefer the carbide rifle, it sounds great without silencer and kills people. but i don't know if its the best..

There are stats for the guns, when you mod the guns at Ammunation, the stats change...did you think that a suppressor works magically?
