New Lowering Glitch?

I don't think you really "found" it.

Einjzmolf told me about this a few weeks ago and it's great for seeing how your car will look lowered while you customize it.

Well, nobody told me about it. I'll give him credit if you want me to.

I don't know if he found it, but it's not really a "lowering" glitch as the car doesn't stay lowered as the other method.

isn't this what the slamed thread is about, shooting the rims to "break" the suspension? if it is it's hardly new.

Yeah I discovered this on my own the other day. Doesnt stick when you leave LSC.

Edit: No this is not the same.

Watch the video, bruh.

it will stay forever / when you drive it to your garage? or its resets to normal?

It resets but it still looks cool.

I'm going to go slightly off topic here by not discussin what's in the video, instead I want to ask something about slamming.

In the particular video tutorial I watched on slamming, the guy in the video mentioned how "competition" is the lowest suspension option in LSC, but by using the rim shooting technique you could get it to drop one or two levels more.

I recall, seeing another suspension option below competition, and I believe it was called "race". But only on one or two vehicles, and I forget what they were.

But the point is, the game code does have another suspension option below competition, but most cars are blocked from accessing it in LSC.

However, using iFruit/Charles, shouldn't it be possible to get that suspension option on any vehicle mod order, simply by adding +1 to whatever suspension option number equates to competition?

If that works, the slam would be permanent, and could exist with BP tires.

Has anyone ever actually tried this? Just make an iFruit/Charles modification order, but instead of using X for suspension, use X+1 (where X = the number for competition).

Got excited for a second. This is not even worth a post on a forum.

Also this should be in Guides and Strategies.

I've tried it on old gen with the save editor. I didn't seem to notice anything though.

Im sure by now if this was possible, people would have done it. Good thinking though.

If R* wanted to make some easy cash card money, they could just add another suspension option. "Drift Suspension".

It would just automatically, and permanently "break" the suspension all the way. Make it cost $50k.

Adding that and a Hydraulic suspension would spur a dramatic increase in spending in Online. I think.

resets once you drive out

Then it's pointless.

Not entirely pointless. You can still take some nice pictures.

I found this new lowering glitch.

1) You didn't find it. 2) It's been around since last gen. 3) Don't troll us with things we already know about. Most of us have been playing since day one in 2013.

Wish this would stick or we had air suspension that could be adjusted through the quick action menu.

Wasn't this the only way to lower vehicles that most people have known about for over a year?

No, you don't shoot at the rims with this one.

1) Nobody posted it before so I took the credit, If you can find a post about this, I would gladly give credit. 2) I'm pretty sure this doesn't work on Last Gen. 3) I'm not trolling. I've been playing since day one and I've just found this out.

I discovered this like the second day new gen was out. It's new to new gen. It isn't anything 'credit' worthy so i'm not sure why you're making a big deal about taking credit for it. Anybody with 2 eyes and a popped tire has seen this.

I'm not making a big deal. People keep saying "you didn't find it." Fine then, TELL ME WHO FOUND IT SO I CAN GIVE THEM CREDIT, but no, they just keep complaining.

If done to a stock Rapid GT (no bulletproof tires), this will make it faster than any other car (including supers) in game (only in a straight line though)... try it.

That's a different glitch. This one just makes it lowered in LSC

Noone found it. Noone deserves credit. You deserve credit for making the video and posting it here. Not finding the bug.. let that part go, they're just being childish.
