I personally wouldn't own that but given that the Furore GT was recently added as a sports car, it's doubtful that they would give us another Maserati sports car this quick.

 

Then again, Lampadati also has Jaguar and Citroen influenced vehicles. I would love something out of those brands!

I'm thinking that the Vapid Guardian could be the unnamed APC seen in the trailers and screenshots:

• Vapid is based on Ford
• The unnamed APC is significantly based on Gurkha armored vehicles
• According to Wikipedia, the Gurkhas are built with a Ford engine and a Ford chassis

Therefore, it seems likely to me that it is the APC. Plus, look at the name, "Guardian": Sounds military as hell, I doubt it would just be another civilian car.

 

Also, this leads me to another theory: The HVY Insurgent could be the Hind.

• As the Oxford dictionary states, "Insurgent: A person fighting against a government or invading force; a rebel or revolutionary"
• The Hind is a Soviet-era helicopter, therefore definitely being somewhat of an "insurgent" amongst the other military vehicles in the game (Literally all others are based on NATO aircraft)
• In game, HVY is also the maker of the Skylift, based on the S-64 Skycrane by Sikorsky: a manufacturer that, despite being created in the US, was founded by and named after the Russian aviation pioneer Igor Sikorsky.

This might sound like a bit of a snowball fallacy, but try looking at it from a developer's perspective: The only other helicopter manufacturers in GTA V, besides HVY, are Buckingham, Western Company, Nagasaki and Maibatsu. The two latter are Japanese, so they can be easily excluded. Buckingham is stated to be British and almost exclusively dedicated to luxury vehicles, with the only exception being the Police Maverick, which, as the name implies, is supposedly a modified version of their Maverick helicopter. This leaves us with Western Company left, which might as well be the strongest contender since it also makes a few vehicles with Sikorsky inspiration - however, they mostly make Boeing and Bell inspired aircraft, making them a lot closer to those two manufacturers than to Sikorsky. Therefore, if I was a developer and had to choose from an existing manufacturer to place a Hind-like helicopter (Take into account no new manufacturers are added in updates), HVY would be my choice.

I have no idea why Rockstar would do that, but at least HVY is exclusively dedicated to heavy and industrial vehicles, which can't be stored in garages. Plus, it seems doubtful to assume we're getting 7 new personal vehicles on top of all the obviously non-storable ones we've seen, some of those in that list must definitely be for Pegasus. go back and read the original post. its from the ifruit app. the text in the code is for customization of cars and a list of cars. and every single other vehicle listed is a storable vehicle in the game. is it that farfetched that rockstar would use the hvy manufacturer for a personal vehicle..

We have enough supercars already. I'd rather see more everyday cars. It's dumm to drive around and 50 percent of the cars are Sports and supercars. (Imo)

Seems like these are just the customizable/ownable vehicles coming with heists, not the serious hardware we saw in the heists trailer (Hydra/Hind-like helicopter/Huey-like helicopter).

Could be, but remember: there are 2 version of the Insurgent: a Heists-only type and a buyable one? Also, "GenericInsurgent"... Generic seems to be used for land vehicles.

When you guys say "chrome rims" you mean entirely chrome wheels, right? There's alreasy a few wheel types that have highly polished rims.

Entirely chrome wheels, I can live without. Especially as I know I'll see plenty fitted to Sandkings
