Damn, the chrome rims are pretty expensive.

Yeah , maximum is 80k or 88k and minimum is 55k .
They could be lower right? Wasn't the gold supposedly 1,000,000 when it was first found?

Hydraulics have been named that forever, it's what they named Suspension.

When you guys say "chrome rims" you mean entirely chrome wheels, right? There's alreasy a few wheel types that have highly polished rims.

Entirely chrome wheels, I can live without. Especially as I know I'll see plenty fitted to Sandkings :/

That's not chrome..Looks identical to chrome. Most people would never know the difference between a chrome wheel and a polished aluminum wheel. Edited by Mach1bud

That's not chrome..

It's confirmed now. Insurgent is the APC. Why? It has 2 version. The topless version with the gun and the other is the unarmed one.

...which throws the field wide open for what the 'Vapid Guardian' might be - anyone got any ideas?

 

Perhaps another kind of military-grade version of an existing Vapid vehicle, like the Karin Rebel technical. I say this, because there's what looks like two Vapid Bensons in the shot with the technical - maybe it's the Benson with heavier armour and some other modifications for military use?

Don't know if R* would go this far, however terrorist *Insurgent*s in real life do put anti aircraft weapons very similar to this one on the back of pick up trucks.

 

What you're describing, though, is a 'technical' - a civilian pickup that's been converted into a makeshift fighting vehicle:

That's why it's called the 'Karin Technical' in the leak - it's a technical, based on the Karin Rebel.

 

HVY_Insurgent and HVY_Insurgent_2 sounds more like a match for the APC, which we've seen comes in two distinct versions.

That's a good point except this was all found in iFruit, and the Guardian has customization options, so unless they made the Benson storeable, it's most likely not that.

 

but who knows.

The PC version, yes. As far as I know they didn't delay heists WITH the release of the PC version this time.

The Newswire article said the PC release was delayed, but also said that heists on consoles would be out AHEAD of the PC release.

 

(I am agreeing with BenzFish and disagreeing with anyone who believes that heists have been delayed to coincide with the PC release, though only time will tell.)

I read somewhere that PC will release with Heists on the disk!

Worth considering:

- GTA Online PC is stated as 'including Heists'. Not 'PC Heists will launch on the 24th', but 'including', as in 'part of the GTAO PC package' (possibly even on-disc - which'd make sense, since it'd reduce the size of any Day 1 patch).

- GTA V PC was meant to launch on January 27th - if GTAO PC was meant to launch with Heists included, that means that Heists would have been coming by the 27th, at least.

- Whatever it is that's caused the delay for PC, it's not console-Heists related, or else they'd be launching on March 24th as well - instead, they're supposed to be coming "ahead of" (i.e., before) the PC March 24th launch.

 

- Put all that together, and that means that A) console Heists were intended for launch on Jan 27th along with PC, B) PC was pushed back for reasons unrelated to Heists, and C) Heists should technically be unaffected and thus a Jan 27th launch is possible.

Add in the ETA of 'in the coming weeks' (i.e., a matter of weeks from now - as in, less than a month), and the 27th comes a fortnight (i.e., a couple of weeks) after the announcement...


...I'm not saying R* will launch console Heists by the end of the month (because we've all seen their track-record for postponing stuff!), but I certainly think it's possible, based on the information we've got to hand.

Which wouldn't affect the Heists release date in any way, they would just be out earlier on the consoles than PC.

Which wouldn't affect the Heists release date in any way, they would just be out earlier on the consoles than PC.

 

I'm guessing that the PC delay is either due to performance issues relating to the upgraded resolution/framerate, or something to do with the new PC editing/uploading suite - R* did say it was for testing and polish, so I reckon it's PC-specific new stuff that they're fine-tuning.

I have come up with a theory while under the shower.

 

I think I figured out what the Vapid is, Shepherd mentioned that it could be a military Benson as everything is somewhat balanced in its class, what I mean by that is that we have equal amounts of each of the types of vehicle. So I reckon this might be some kind of new Pgasus vehicle.

 

We know the two bikes, and we know that the Kuruma is a sports car and I assume the new Lampadati will be a sports car or bike.

 

I also assume that the HYV will be an anromured SUV despite its weird stats. However it has an exhaust option which I assume means it isn't a Pegasus vehicle.

 

For the case of this theory I will assume that the Thecnical is the Rebel.

The weird stats and the exhaust option seems kinda out of place if it's the APV. But then again, these might not be the final stats. For the rest, I speculate mostly the same.
