An option to hide blue rings in free roam

Recommended Posts

An option to hide them on the big map would be nice too.

it's easy enough to check your phone or the menu to start missions / races etc.

On the map you can hide the things that you want to see in free roam but not the missions, which tbh are everywhere.

Yes this would be a wonderful idea. I was in a heated gun flight with two other players near the miltary base last night. And I was walking up this little hill from the beach and f*ck me walked into the blue ring of death. I got out of it, says I can't join because I have a wanted level ( no sh*t ) and my gun is away. I hit the weapon wheel button to my surprise I have the damn police baton in hand. Yeah what the hell am I suppose to do with that? Took out my auto shotgun, killed the two players again and hit the highway.

I totally agree with this. Also with new R* verified jobs being added to the map is getting more and more cluttered.

I don't know if anyone actually uses these but with jobs being accessible from the menus they are redundant.

I don't think anyone has ever used them damn things.

I fell off a building and landed in one once lol. Also, I found this solo car cannon glitch with the Vinewood radio tower gates (not on youtube...staying that way too as I can't record) which sometimes backfires. My character got launched and supermanned into the blue marker nearby (the one near where you steal the trailer in Satellite Communications).

Annoying, but the markers have their uses heh.

Yeah, I've run into them accidentally far too many times.

A way to turn them off would be great. I never use them to actually start a job.

Or at the very least having to hold X / A or something while inside them to actually accept the mission / race / whatever instead of it being automatic. Many times I've back into them or creeped into them while using the sniper rifle.

i've only had a minor annoyance with them maybe twice in all my time playing. but an option to get rid of them would still be great

I'd like an option where griefers can't move.

you shouldn't be able to move when in griefer mode

There should at least be a 1 hour minimum cool-down where you can't grief again.

There have been a few occasions whilst running backwards in a gunfight I've ended up being whisked into the clouds to much annoyance.

^ this.

I was actually just gonna start a topic about this myself lol.

at the very least, making it so you have to push the Y or triangle button once your in the circle or something...

I just hate that I can't see my health or armor when I'm in free roam because of those damn blue markers on my minimap. I never even walk into them, I just use them to teleport at times.

Keep a wanted star on at all times...

I've always thought that there needs to be a 2-3 button press option to start one so nobody accidentally does

what about our garage doors? I like in sp when you press is it left to enter garage, should be left to enter corona, etc
