Got a 20/10 cable here, so should take around 5-6 or 7hrs of download, max download speed I get is actually 2.250MB/s (according to steam) only downside is how much bandwith will be allowed for GTAV when its released.

I'm fine with 65 GB, especially having preload.

Guys, if you use Steam remember you only need to download the game once, after that you can right click the game in steam -> backup, save the backup wherever you want and if you need to reinstall the game for whatever reason just open the installer that will be there :D

I had to condition it to hit this speed though. Usually it's around 150 MB/s, RDS are a bunch of crooks.

Wow, in Romania and you have a lot faster speed than North America, in Canada, I don't think we can have anything close to this, unless you use a business network of some kind.

I have an 80 meg Unlimited connection on Sky Fibre. It should be done within 2 hours. I could say I'm lucky.

Unlimited? Is there no speed restriction limit after you download the amount of "full speed" quota?

Restrictions like that is f*cking retarded. I couldn't be happier to live in a country where it doesn't exist.

Mobile data is of course a different matter

Here's mine. I have a much faster connection, but since I'm using an old USB network adapter from 2007 far away from my router, my speeds are rubbish.

About 15Mbps (1.7-1.8 MB/s) on WiFi. Unlimited. Free of charge.

I just got a free upgrade to 100mb/s from Virgin Media. It took me around 90 mins-2 hours to download max payne 3 from steam at around 4 mb/s download speed (I currently use it wireless upstairs) with the plan to move my pc downstairs when we have everything sorted. It'll take a 4/5 hours for me, which is perfectly fine.

Most games don't take too long to download, hoping for either pre load or start my download at midnight so it's done by morning.

Will take 15 hours for me but with pre-load that's no problem.

Maybe if some of you have a 50GB game on steam or higher you can estimate around how long it would take for GTA V that way.

It'll take you quite a while on that connection, sorry. As someone who recently was able to rid themselves of a similarly horrid connection I know how it feels... I'm only on 12mbps U-Verse now but the difference is night and day compared to the crap I had before.

GTAV would take roughly 13 hours for me if it were actually a 65GB download, but as others have pointed out you won't have to download 65GB of data. That's just how much space it'll take up after installing.

Still, I anticipate a 40-something GB download at least.

I don't either mate. Theoretically I should have 1GB/s, or close, but in reality I only get around 150 MB/s. I can get a speed test like this only after a fresh router restart.

it might just take me a day. So if I plan on modding I better be extremely careful because I really don't want to have to start all over because I moved something in the wrong folder. LOL
