I wanna say that my internet is REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY slow. it is 1mb = 100kb download speed. the internet company I am in is offering a feature where you use your mobile credit to increase your internet speed for a limited time to 4mb = 400kb. so If I had the 4mb speed. how many days will it take too? If you have 4Mbps internet download speed, it should take you half an hour to download 1GB file,which mean you can download 2GB files in 1 hour. When you're downloading, does it tell you 400KB/s or 50KB/s? I'm pretty sure you might be mistaking the difference between a bit and a Byte. No-one said that. That's indeed the definition of pre-loading, but pre-load are often available 2-3 days before the game's release. GTAV PC is not even gold yet (ready for retail release). Intstringeger Posted January 18, 2015 Share Posted January 18, 2015 People are assuming that steam will release all bandwith for all users.... they still need to provide service for all users... so I doubt they will release more than 5MB/s for each person. This. Steam downloads are always capped at 5MB/s for me. 65 GB at 5MB/s would take a little over 3 hours and 45 minutes.
