But yeah, probably a mix of low-medium, 30-40 FPS.

You made my day bro :D

No problem man :)

But are you really sure? some people told me it will work and others told me it won't work. I don't want to risk buying and downloading a large game and end up in it not working.

You''ll be fine, especially with hypertreading, since the min requirement is Quad Core.

It is hyperthreading dual core tho. not hyperthreading quadcore

It has 2 physical cores but each of this 2 cores can split more to 2 virtual cores so it acts like 4 core cpu but not with the 100% performance of the same. But yes it passes minimum specs...

So pretty much I can run it with minimum mixed with medium on 30-40 fps? that will be good If I could to.

also laptops usually have 720p rez.. so yeah 30fps on lowest settings is guaranteed.

Yes they have but it can be lower so it can imrpove gameplay but at cost of quality...

for laptops people should always check notebookcheck.

http://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-Radeon-HD-8750M.87147.0.html

it's a class 2 gpu close to gtx 285 a gddr3 card which is verging on low end for latest games.

if your card has gddr5 memory it'll bump up the performance a bit but if it's gddr3 it'll create a nasty bottleneck in your performance.

bit of different between bf4 & gta v.

i'd say if it's gddr3 it'll be pretty sluggish and at a low resolution.

it it's gddr5 you might get it playable to some degree, would still be a low res though.

128bit + gddr3 = slow

128bit + gddr5 = slow depending on card but fast if card is upper class (GTX or around hd6970m level)

i.e. gtx 765m is 128bit gddr5 but is fine for modern games.

GT nvidia notebook cards are slow.

256bit + gddr5 = optimum

it's all bout memory bandwidth. 128bit gives you half the mhz of what 256bit would give you, more is better.

always look at the memory bandwidth of a gpu as that's what makes or breaks your gaming performance where the gpu is concerned.

amd is more more sneaky at naming their mobile gpu's do not be fooled by hd8xxx as a good number of them are just rebranded slow gpus.

nvidia is easier to see the poop from the good stuff.

GTX = good

GT = not so good.

I am just confused... can I run it or no?

How can I know if it is gddr3 or gddr5

This started to piss me off :/ will ma gpu run it or no??

your just getting annoyed over nothing.

let the game come out, and find out. you'll know exactly then what you need. NO ONE on this forum or your mates can tell you if your specs will make V work.

your options are limited right now.

download AIDA64 and look under GPU

look for GDDR, if it's gddr3 then it'll be very slow.

the game may be loadable but don't expect it to be playable.

this vid gives you an idea;

20-30fps on gta iv although he fails to mention resolution & vram spec

his cpu is quad but amd. 1.9-2.8ghz

yours is only dual, so will obviously mean a reduction in fps as well.
