GrindoLindo Posted January 19, 2015 Share Posted January 19, 2015 (edited) for laptops people should always check notebookcheck. http://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-Radeon-HD-8750M.87147.0.html it's a class 2 gpu close to gtx 285 a gddr3 card which is verging on low end for latest games. if your card has gddr5 memory it'll bump up the performance a bit but if it's gddr3 it'll create a nasty bottleneck in your performance. GT nvidia notebook cards are slow. 256bit + gddr5 = optimum it's all bout memory bandwidth. 128bit gives you half the mhz of what 256bit would give you, more is better. always look at the memory bandwidth of a gpu as that's what makes or breaks your gaming performance where the gpu is concerned. amd is more more sneaky at naming their mobile gpu's do not be fooled by hd8xxx as a good number of them are just rebranded slow gpus. nvidia is easier to see the poop from the good stuff.
