Massacro and Jester race cars, worth switching too?.

I haven't been racing lately, kind of got over it during the great turbo bug fiasco. Anyway been looking at the file specs of the new Massacro and Jesters and they are a bit different to the originals so I tried out the stock versions today. They definitely drive like different cars to the originals, better?? I'm not sure, the Jester seems legit but I can't lap the Massacro race car as fast as the stock Massacro and its no faster in acceleration tests either. It does drive differently but I'm feeling like its worse than the stock one?. Does it improve with modifications and have the serious racers switched or are they still driving the stock Massacro?.

Today when I tested them my best laps were in this order.

1. Standard Massacro

2. Massacro race car

3. Jester race car

4. Jester

PS remove one o from title :0

Race variants are faster, but only by like a second or less. If you already got the clean version its not worth it unless you want liveries

I felt the Jester race car was quite a bit better than the original. Do these things come with comp suspension or something?. Might explain why I was faster in the stock massacro as my normal sports class car is a Massacro with standard springs and off roads. I've never been good in a Jester.

The new Massacro isn't that much different than the old one, I just replaced my old one with the new one because of the new design on it.

The new Jester however has better acceleration, which puts it up with the top performing cars in the sports class now.

Thanks guys, I've decided since I have a Massacro on each character I'll replace one with the Jester race car then have a really good crack with both full modified standard Massacro vs Jester race car and see what I can do the better times in. Good excuse to get back into a Jester, it wasn't too bad originally just had no grunt.. I sold my original one the day the Massacro came out.

Before you switch realize that you cant change the secondary color on the liveries.

the massacro is probably faster on highway races but I haven't checked with mine...sports wise I have liveried jester, normal massacro, 9f cabrio and sultan rs

That's ok I seen a few Jester race cars hooning around freeroam, they look pretty good, the stickers on the Massacro not so much. I'd be interested to see which of the Massacros has the higher top speed. I'll look at it again later when I get home. I did an acceleration test over 1000 meter for all four cars. The two Massacros nothing in it, maybe .1 of a second faster on the race car but I'd need to do more runs. The Jester race car however was much faster than the standard Jester and almost as fast as the Massacros now. I'm not used to driving the Jester though so can't drive it around a track as fast (yet) but might be able to once I get used to it's excessive turning skills. At the moment I'm so adapted to the point and shoot of the Massacro.

Definitely get the rc jester.Probably the most balanced car in the game.Only slightly slower than the elegy but it's easier to be consistent in the rc jester. As for the massacro that's optional.I got one but it doesn't feel much better and I dislike the livery.

Also, be sure you're not affiliated with a crew if you do want to change the colors. If you are, it will place a sideways version of your crew logo on the drivers side door that, as of right now, can not be removed.

The increases are minimal, as are the amount of Sports Class races you will actually join

Sure, because THAT is a concern that is GAMEBREAKING!1!!1!1!

Clearly, they "f*cked that up", what a TRAGEDY that you can't change the color on the ad/wrap part of the car

This must be different between last gen and current gen consoles. I'm on ps3 and I beat the jester race car almost every time I race against it with my massacro race car. And no I'm not talking about racing against novices I'm racing against people with thousands of races under their belts. The race car versions are definitely different than the originals. Every time I start a race and I see I'm the only one with a race car I already know I'm going to win

As a devoted racer, with a legit winning ratio, Im noticing the Jester has a tighter turning radius than a Massacro. I use to win a lot in my Mass, but now that a race Jester can keep up, its better turning radius makes the difference for me. Better turning radius means slightly less earlier braking to turn the car in tight turns. Shave off a little braking time, and thats more speed time. I was in a 10 car random field the other day in that Triangle verified race, I schooled every brand of car that showed up. Mind you it could have been my superior driving skill, and better braking and corner entry, but there was like 2 or 3 Massacros in the field and they all ate my dust. I may never race my stock Mass again in a sports race.

I ended up saving some cash and buying the Massacro racecar on my second account. I couldn't afford to upgrade the brakes but decided to to rip a lap of cutting corners to see how it goes. Unfortunately a guy joined before I could set it to closed race and then next thing I knew it was a full eight car race... Anyway it was four laps, few Elegys in it but I won easily (by 27 seconds) and didn't have to push at all so no chance of crashing, just cruising. Probably the only competition was a level 230 guy on 250 wins 300 loses. Anyway not near the times I can do in the stock version yet but it's 6am here so I'm really tired after grinding up the cash for it. It's probably slightly faster than the stock one, especially once I do the brakes and get a sleep. Tomorrow I'm going to sell the Massacro on my main account second character and get the Jester racecar, I like how that thing sounds. If I do say a 55 second lap on cutting corners in the Jester I'll be happy.

On similar topic of these cars, some clever person on Forza HOrizon 2 has recreated the racecar skin for the massacro

I don't need to see Forza right now.. First time in history I am not going to buy both consoles. Project cars can't come fast enough. But that does look good :).

With these race car variations availible online, I'd really like to see the stock car variations availible online as well.

First time ever commenting on GTA Forums so this is pretty cool.

Anyways, I have had the standard Massacro and bought the Jester Racecar like an hour into it being out.

The Jester R.C. is pretty awesome. Its top speed is not as good as the Massacros but the acceleration is on par and better traction plus braking.

Overall, the Jester R.C. is better than the Massacros, when it comes to racing. A huge boost in acceleration from the Jester to Jester R.C.

Another plus, the Jester R.C. also has the optional bulletproof back window so it's practical to use in missions/freeroam as well.

My final opinion: buy the Jester R.C. Keep the standard Massacro. That's my 2 cents.

P.S. Watch Broughy1322's new, updated 'Fastest Sports Cars' for more elaboration.

I had a jester for racing before, and i bought an extra jester racecar as soon as it came out...I feel like the racecar version is better, but not sure. I've set faster times with it

Hey guys, thought I'd update this since you all gave good feedback and I ended up buying both the Massacro and Jester race cars. I spent a couple hours racing lobbies which were luckily mostly non contact and ended up undefeated in the Massacro. Every race was a full lobby too so I was happy with that. Even won on the Sultans of swing which surprised me, that race was actually neck and neck with a Jester racecar until the point where the track straightens up near the end and woooosh I was out of there. Anyway I was very happy with the Massacro race car,got that character up to 86 wins / 45 loses after tonight and made good cash :).

I then switched to my main account and decided to have one last drive of my standard Massacro... Pushed some laps, bang bang bang, all faster than my best lap in the Massacro race car lol and I don't even have offroads on it (I do on the Massacro race car) . So I thought hang on a minute.. I can't sell this just yet..

So I just splurged and bought the Jester racecar... Well did I crash the sh*t out of that thing lol, but its got potential, occasionally I can lap it within a second of the Massacro but over a race distance its quite a bit slower and much more inconsistent for me.

Basically today on cutting corners I'm doing 55s in the standard Massacro with tuner tyres, 56 flat in the Jester race car (tuner tyres) and 56 flat in the Massacro race car (offroads). The Jester feels like it will benifit a lot with offroads since its so light, I'll try those tomorrow. Right now I wouldnt be successful with it in actual racing because I crash it a lot, I hardly ever loose paint off a Massacro let alone crash but I'll give it some more practice before I sell the thing. Love the sound on it and the Massacro race car though even if the stock one drives nicer...
