DaRkL3AD3R Posted January 18, 2015 Share Posted January 18, 2015 Digital Foundry confirmed that lens flares were upgraded from last gen. Even Rockstar I believe mentioned it somewhere. And as someone who played the game on both Xbox 360 and PS4, I can definitely confirm that. And don't go by my screenshot to show quality difference. Both are taken from sh*tty quality streams. GTA_dog Posted January 19, 2015 Share Posted January 19, 2015 Just have characters hang out with eachother so you can switch between and look from the same spot at the same time (too lazy to start up the game myself lol)You can't switch characters when you're hanging out with anyone. There is also rumors that they patched in more vegetation so if it doesn't 100% match the PS4, it is much closer. Now to play devil's advocate: while the GPU in the PS4 is significantly faster than the XB1's, the latter has a nice CPU jump over the former and in areas where CPU bottlenecking is evident on PS4, the XB1 is able to handle it with a higher average frame-rate. Keep in mind this is coming from a guy who hates the XB1 and has a PS4. But honestly my signature should say it all really, and why I am able to talk about the consoles with no bias. Because at the end of the day, both are children's toys compared to PC. What's the point in squabbling over one sh*tty cheap laptop-grade system or the other? If you really want to own the graphics and performance arena, you know what you have to do. And it requires spending more than $300-400.
