What Does L1 + R1 at Boot Do?

Hey!

I've seen advice for various problems that includes, (or is), to delete the Game Data, then to hold down L1 + R1 when booting the game. I'm just wondering what command that sends. Or, to put it another way, what exactly does that do?

To my knowledge and I may be wrong, but I believe holding both those buttons clears your game cache on your system.

Well, someone marked it solved, so I guess that's it. Thanks!

I just want to mention, I tried this, in order to fix the "Join (Disabled), Invite (Disabled)" problem, and it didn't work for me. I have only one friend left whom I can Join or Invite. I haven't been able to find much advice on these forums for this bug, so if anybody's figured out a fix, feel free to highjack the thread, or start a new one and point us to it.
